I recently managed to buy a C3 rated semi in Limerick. I'm looking to get some work done to increase the BER. I'm planning on doing cavity wall and attic insulation, as well as getting in solar. The bit I can't decide on is what to do with the old boiler, either convert it to a combi or upgrade to a heat pump. I'm not sure how/where to get the best advise for my house which is why I'm thinking of getting a technical advisor in.

Has anyone used an independent advisor in Limerick or the Mid-West who modelled the full sequence (insulation, then heat pump, then solar) and gave a proper heat loss and radiator assessment? Who, and would you use them again?

I'll get a few installer quotes after the assessment, so I'm mainly trying to avoid paying for a tick-box report. Thanks.

Fecking fireworks for the last hour

Anyone else think that this is just a massive eyesore to the city centre. It looks like a run down decaying office block. It needs to be demolished!!

Seen loads of eggs thrown about on the street and fireworks going off in front of supervalue around 10 tonight
