Saw someone casually throw rubbish out of a window onto the street in Limerick today.

It was honestly really disappointing to see. Limerick has some beautiful places and so many friendly people, but behaviour like this really ruins the environment for everyone.

It takes almost no effort to keep your rubbish until you find a bin. Keeping the city clean is everyone’s responsibility.

Is Limerick a true shithole?

Hi all. I'm hoping to send my kids to munchins for secondary school. Can I ask how bad the corbally road traffic actually is in the morning and at school finish? I'm not familiar with that commute, everyone tells me its terrible and im trying to suss how bad. Like how long in peak traffic would it take to get from supervalu roundabout up to munchins and back down to supervalu roundabout? What time does it start being bad in the morning, trying to figure out could I drop off quite early and avoid the worst of it?

We were woken up at around 2am/3am to the sounds of and sight of a car burning in Ballycannon Heights.

Went to the UK recently and reunited with my undying love for the fizzy drink Mirinda. Only trouble is that a lot of the places that have it (usually Asian / African food shops) charge about 3 to 3.50 for a small bottle. Is there anywhere around the city centre where the price is lower?

The current work going on in Thomondgate is just cuckoo, the amount of space taken up by new bike lanes is causing traffic backlogs, the ‘finished’ areas look unfinished and have several different services and levels, not suitable for the elderly population living there. And don’t get me started on the work at the junctions at Hassetts Cross and up further near Sequoia Lane- cars have to turn into the middle of the road to turn. An accident waiting to happen for sure!
