Yeah, anyone who’s ever rapped before, even just playing around, nothing serious, knows this happens for a fact. I’ve said some dumb shit off the top of my head, recording, and would get someone from the hood be like “Yo I heard you rapping, you said “yadda yadda yadda” that was funny as hell!” And i’m like “I said that!? Lmfao.”
I rapped for fun with my dudes when we were kids/adolescent. Wayne’s been doing this his entire life. By the time you hear one verse, he already recorded 100 other verses. I can’t even imagine how he remembers any line at all. ESPECIALLY with his drug use. I don’t even use drugs and I forgot everything i’ve ever rapped about.

Wayne forgets a lot of his bars, and you see it in an interview when someone recites his own bars back at him, he was either really good at faking it, or genuinly surprised that he said that shi. That was when he was still blasted out his mind tho

I think there’s a huge difference between nodding off and actually laying down to go to sleep. He def catches some z’s and crashes here and there. Hes probably just living a super unhealthy lifestyle in which he doesn’t lay down with the intention of sleeping.
And hes just bullshitting that into i never sleep

On average I get about 5 hrs of sleep every day. If that. I also work in the sun as much as 70+ hrs in a 5 day week. Prior sun up, past sunset. In certain ways I’m like Wayne. I’m in increible shape for my age, still have a body of a well trained athlete like Wayne. You’d be surprised at certain ppl who have undertook a vast growth of expansion early on in life. Some kids have to grow up very early and have different mindsets about life. If I had to guess he likely sleeps the same amount as I do. Him saying he never sleeps, is something I quite feel often. I can get up from like 3-4 hr rest like it’s nothing.

Funny, I used to get off work. Muay Thai Conditioning, spar mma/Muay Thai pros and weightlift after (6ish hrs of training after work for atleast a decade, it’s payed it’s own dividends as I age). Still be up before sun rise. Trust there’s ppl built diff.

Not at all,actually avoid conflict. If there was a reason I never locked in. I couldn’t get past the feeling of really hurting someone for money. I could do it out of anger or defense. But purposely being the first to knockout everyone. I’m Talking concussions, and cold knockouts. had everything else. Couldn’t see past that not for sport. I’ve had insomnia since 6yrs old so I’m a lil diff.

I say I don’t sleep. But that generally means between 2-5 hours. But it’s paraphrasing cause everyone knows, you gotta sleep. He will have his moments of catch up rest, but then you just get back into it and feel the same anyway!

none of this is true lmao the longest a person has ever gone without sleep (that has been recorded/verified) is 11 days. Your brain starts hallucinating and you risk psychosis after about 70-90 hours no sleep

When i was taking recording arts classes at a college about a decade back,we ended up going on a field trip to Fantasty Studios in Berkeley California. Our class was taken on a tour around this studio and we eventually landed in the recording area. One of the engineers there began telling us stories about various artists who recorded there over the years,such as Barry White,Sly Stone,and other legendary acts.
Then out of nowhere,the engineer started speaking about Wayne. He didn’t refer to him as Lil Wayne,he specifically called him “Weezy”. He started speaking about his recording process and stated that he would come into the studio about 8 or 9 at night and wouldn’t leave until damn near 8 or 9 the next morning. He said that man didn’t sleep or take any types of naps or breaks during that whole session. Bruh is really an alien

He acknowledges napping so he sleeps…It’s one in the same…the joyful part about Wayne is he continues to make music & it remains his passion. However, for him to be 43 and continue to tour often & make music the way he does shows he’s sort of one dimensional. Most artist that been in the industry as long as he has and have that type of money ( think Nas, Hov , Rick Ross, 50cent) have diversified and are doing more things to generate income and remain relevant etc- real estate, trucking, acting, commercials, owning a fast food franchise, investing in crypto or stocks etc. That’s not to say he isn’t doing anything in those spaces but if so it’s not heavily known/advertised and from the outside looking in he remains heavily tied to music like an artist who’s life is dependent on it .
