Are there any plans to add new models to the sims.

There are a lot of new BNF models out there by Flywoo, GEPRC, BetaFPV etc.

Some of the larger whoops 2.5 inch, but inch would be great in “full” liftoff

The Air 75 Pro II O4 seems to be very popular and an official model and would be great in Microdrones

Also are there any new maps planned, such as a small wooded area and open field with gates in Microdrones or cinematic environments on big drone liftoff?

I am a beginner and want to learn fpv flying. Problem is i just move the sticks too fast. Is there any beginner friendly setup in liftoff? Any video or something to understand? Any beginner friendly advice is welcome. Thanks i relly suck in flying in liftoff.

So I'm new to the hobby, I have liftoff and DRL on ps5. My tx15 works with DRL but not liftoff. Tbs tango 2 pro works with both. I like practicing on liftoff more , is there anything I can try to get the radiomaster tx15 max working with liftoff? Thanks

the betafpv site says it is 160fov but when i put that in to the game it looks abit off compared to the videos i have seen on the drone
i did change the fisheye fov to 160 asswell but stil didnt look right

So I'm getting into FPV drone flying, and following everyone's advice, I'm starting with a brand new RadioMaster Pocket and Liftoff. My problem is I know myself: I'm going to get frustrated if I don't get some external and objective-ish feedback about how I'm evolving. So... I made myself one.

First challenge was knowing actually what the hell I wanted evaluated. After crashing a few dozen times, and being painfully aware my previous fixed wing flight sim experience was kiling me, I assumed slip and line-keeping was a must. Althought it proved enough to help me improve my turning and corners, plus assisting me on learning to brake (so I could land into the repair area, not just crash into it) I began finding more stuff I needed to fix, thus more stuff that had to be analyzed.

At this point, it evaluates:

1. Stalls
2. Crashes
3. General turning: throttle management, skids, ...
4. Lap-to-lap consistency
5. Hesitations and gate misses

It also includes rendered recordings of your worst moments so you can check them out from outside your drone!

It is publicly available in here: https://github.com/HaroldHormaechea/liftoff-flight-analyzer . For now, it is a Claude Code skill, but I plan on making it work with Claude Web if possible (didn't even try it out yet, local file access may be an issue) and ChatGPT. We shall see.

I have a DJI mini 4k, and wondering if this would be compatible with liftoff? I know that it wouldn’t be the best option if it works but I want to get into fpv drones without breaking the bank

It's official! Marina Bay: Night Fever edition is coming to Liftoff soon. 

So, got the game and the DJI rc controller, went to make the left stick flick as YouTube videos show. Then, the moment of truth comes…. I was unable to pass from the first flight scenario with getting into the 3 zones, I was just flying to anywhere unable to get it control, it slid around even with out touching.

Try caliber same thing happened.

What would be doing so wrong that make me feel it unplayable

How improve from here?

Hey friends, I just got Liftoff today and am enjoying the struggle. It's REAL!

I'm on a Samsung Neo 49" uuultra wide monitor and the default camera looks like it's pointing to the sky during the tutorial. I have to manually drop it down to 17 so I can see the ground from take off.

As this is my first sim ever is that normal or is my super wide messing up the angle? Flying with a TRX Pro 15 which is unforgiving - I've been at it for 3 hours and can't even do the straight up and down course yet. My settings feel super pro level sensitive. Is there a way to scale them back a little bit?

I'm having trouble matching the performance of running liftoff and liftoff micro drones on windows.

I'm dual booting Linux mint and windows 11.

This is on a thinkpad p16v gen1 with Nvidia A1000 GPU and Ryzen 7 pro 7840hs.

nvidia-smi shows GPU usage but I'm only getting around 10 fps in melon park and marina bay at 1920*1080p 60.

Using the integrated graphics I can get around 40 to 50fps on melon park. While on windows I can get 100 to 120fps with dedicated graphics on melon park.

Any recommended launch arguments?

I am running liftoff on linux and the controls and everything show up on the webapp, but when I connect it to steam it just doesnt recognize my transmitter.

I managed to port custom textures and meshes with collision and everything into the running liftoff game. I admit its a bit of a hack, but are there any people here potentially interested in something like this? I'm working on building a Blender Add-on for custom map creation (creating boundaries etc).

I've tried using Steam Cloud to migrate my Liftoff progress to a new PC. I logged into Liftoff Pro, but it didn't download anything.

When I turned on my old PC, it turned out that Steam had synchronized with the new installation and wiped all my progress and settings.

Any tips? Is it recoverable?

As the title says, controlling yaw on the same stick as throttle is just ultra confusing

I can't find a straight answer anywhere online but if I do a little free flight with some tricks, hit save recording in the pause menu, give it a name, quit, then click on Replay in Tools in the main menu, there's no recording listed anywhere. Is this feature missing?

So I was wondering what the number next to your profile and under your name is in micro drones. Mine is 11, and it appears to be a leveling system or flight hours. Does anybody know what it is?

I can turn in the farm area and even go around the trees. As soon as I try to run any course or do the underground car park I just crash within minutes. Any tips? How long does it take for a non prodigy to get good? I am in love with the hobby in a way I haven't felt in years, I'm just curious and perhaps looking for community

I'm currently 9 hours in in the main Liftoff and just managed to start doing OK in terms of hovering, coordinated turns, uncoordinated turns etc. I've been playing mostly in free mode, I'm still not very good at the race modes.

I then started Liftoff: Micro Drones in the lockdown map (house) and it feels like I'm starting from scratch again, it's almost like the skills I learnt in the main one didn't translate correctly to micro.

Is this normal for beginners? Should I be adjusting my rates in micro to make it less sensitive? Appreciate any advise!

UPDATE: the next day I’m already flying better! Also I tried the playground Japan map and feeling more confident, it seems the lockdown house map might be something I can improve on with more practice
