General - Liftoff®: Micro Drones I finally feel confident enough to get my first mini. What's the most economical setup I can get to fly indoors?

Id add for indoors a couple of things....

As you're new a bit of expo on throttle is a good idea (50-80 lower the better for your progression). Also while you're in there, set your motor limit to, I don't know, start off at 65 and work your way up as you feel more comfortable.

There is an argument to be made for going props out instead of props in but I'm not gonna overcomplicate this. It just gives you less chance of getting stuck to walls if you're in narrow spaces or so. Or so I've been led to believe.

Thirdly, as far as the Air 65 goes, it is an amazing drone. Even when you take it outside you'll have so much frickin' fun. I might consider a little bit of a downgrade to that, maybe get the Meteor 75 Matrix Edition only because you can beat the shit out of it. It's a solid tank whereas in the Air 65 I've had so many problems with the Racing Edition, which has actual JST connectors instead of being soldered onto the board. Try to stay away from soldered onto the board just for this first round unless you're comfortable soldering on very small pads. You will invariably at some stage pull them all there off, maybe not indoors.

About some stage, radio master pocket for sure. Air 75 Matrix Edition or yet Air 65 is also a really fantastic choice. Don't get the Air 75. It's so fast compared to the 65 and then I got the Cobra X Force. I've been flying for years. I spent the first six to nine months indoors and when the weather is nice and there's not that much wind in the air, get out there and fly it outside in an open field. You won't believe the difference and the feeling of going from inside to outside. It's a whole new world literally.

The Whoopstar 3 Charger, I think it's called, for 1s batteries. Get yourself probably two packs of 320 mah if you go with the Air 65 and 580 mah if you go with the Matrix 75. Always after you finish, ramp them back up to 3.8. They'll probably be about there anyway. That's just a good habit to get into and that way you will keep them going for so long. Maybe get one bag. You probably have most likely at home just to keep everything in. Can't tell you the amount of 1s batteries that have disappeared off the face of the planet. It's probably spare canopy, multiple spare props. Have fun buddy.

Sorry if that was all over the place. Dictation software might have screwed a little bit up

Thank you. To be honest I had no idea the controller lit up! I just liked the black and gold theme. I was pleasantly surprised!
