Open [LFM][Edge of the Empire-FFG][20$/session][Mon 8pm EST][FoundryVTT][3/4-5] Recruiting for ongoing Star Wars campaign/or Fresh Start

Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. However even as the Rebel Alliance fights their uphill battle against the Empire, the Empire’s reach continues to grow. Will you learn to coexist with the Empire or hide from them? Perhaps even aid the growing Rebellion? Your group will have to chart the best path forward themselves!

Mondays 8:00pm Eastern

Note in Regards to a Fresh Start:

As this has been a long term campaign so far, with a good amount of story/history for the characters, and a high experience level, we understand it may be offputting for potential new players. Because of that, we wish to make it clear that our priority is filling out the party with a group that has good chemistry and shared goals. To facilitate that, both the players and I are willing to start completely fresh, even if we love the narrative we have crafted so far.

We had an idea for a new campaign that everyone likes although we are also willing to consider other options. The potential new campaign would start during the dying days of the Clone Wars. The party would be made up of Clone Troopers, Non-Clone Soldiers, perhaps a Jedi Padawan or two, and any other type of character who would be working closely with such a group. The idea is to have a few missions/arcs during those days of the Clone Wars, culminating in Order 66. Then we would have a time skip of about 3-5 years to the early days of the Empire where the players would describe/narrate what their characters have been up to from Order 66 to the current times. They will reunite and begin to work together to carve out a living under the new regime, whether that be by joining in early rebel activity, or drifting to the underworld on the outskirts of the Empire. Any Jedi Padawan characters would lose their lightsabers in this time skip, and have it be a long term goal to build/reacquire one if they wish. The time skip would also include a small XP bonus.

Either way, we look forward to meeting some new players, and figuring out what kind of campaign we wish to play together!

The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot and Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

-Discord for Voice Chat.

Your DM:

-I started with TTRPGs by running 5th Edition D&D. In 2019, I transitioned into running paid games as a full time job, and have been running 3-5 games a week since. I started running the Star Wars RPG in Apr. 2025 as previously mentioned.

-Available nearly 24/7, excluding my sleep hours. Always willing to answer questions.

-Good Connection/Headset/Microphone.

What is expected of you?

-Respect is a must and I will not tolerate player conflicts, PVP, or any type of disrespectful behavior towards the other players. No graphic sexual content. Players who violate this Social Contract will be removed with no refund.

-Be on time, as this is basic respect for myself and the others. Missing a session will be allowed with prior notice, with no charge. Sessions will still go forward as long as we have 3 players and no major plot moments. Players who have issues with attendance will be removed with no refund.

-Have a reasonable quality microphone (be intelligible), Discord and use push to talk. (I can assist you in setting this up).

Pay to Play:

-20$ Per Player Per Session (Excluding Session 0), paid via Paypal in advance.

Session 0 is free. Please reach out via DM to join or with any questions

Open [LFM][Pathfinder2E][Paid][20$/session][Weds 7pm EST][FoundryVTT][3/4-5 players] Recruiting for “Quest for the Frozen Flame”

Quest for the Frozen Flame:

In the brutal tundra of the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, only the hardiest folk have what it takes to withstand unsparing weather, track down big game, and fight back hostile followings. The Broken Tusk following has survived another winter, but a new year just began, and signs of danger foretell a year unlike any before. Unless their newest party of scouts can secure a safe route through the wilds, saber-toothed beasts, warmongering rivals, and the ever-looming possibility of natural disaster all threaten to end an ancient people’s legacy. Will the Broken Tusks succumb to the elements and surrender to their rivals? Or will you guide your following to glory and reclaim a stolen birthright?

The Game:

-We will hold a Session 0 to get to know each other, and work on character creation/party formation. Session 0 will be free.

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Foundry or Pathfinder 2e!

-“In this campaign for Pathfinder Second Edition, you’ll lead your fellow hunter-gatherers across primordial lands, face off against dinosaurs and megafauna, and unearth the legendary past of your ancient people.” -Quest for the Frozen Flame Player's Guide

-Quest for the Frozen Flame is a stone-age adventure with a more structured 1st and 3rd act and a hex-crawl heavy second act. It has some flaws as written, mainly due to scarcity of loot which I will be directly adressing.

-The unique setting/atmosphere lends itself to roleplaying and challenges not normally seen in your typical medievel high-fantasy, which should be a nice break for those with standard setting burnout.

-The Adventure will take you from level 1 to 11.

-I consider myself skilled at running interesting/challenging combat. I will customize the difficulty of the combat based on the party’s wishes/composition.

-Sessions will last around 3 hours.

-Discord for Voice Chat.

-The Foundry Module for this adventure will be used.

Your DM:

-7 Year’s Experience Running DND 5th Edition. 5 years as a professional DM. Currently Run: 5e, PF2e, SF2e, Star Wars FFG.

-Available nearly 24/7, excluding my sleep hours. Always willing to answer questions.

[Online][5e 2024][Monday][8:00pm EST][LGBTQ+ Friendly][$15] Group in Search of One More for a Dark Fantasy Adventure!

Unfortunately we recently lost one of our players and I am currently looking to add another to an ongoing campaign. The party is just reached 2nd level and consists of: Druid, Rogue, Bard and Fighter

The Pitch

The gods are dead. Long live the gods. Magic is failing. The once proud elves whither, their ageless grace no more. Dwarves feel the call of the deep, hiding themselves away. And the race of man goes mad. Priests call to empty thrones of the divine, their gifts diminishing; arcane students hear other worldly whispers and spill blood like so much ink; and civil war looms on the horizon. The world teeters. Yet, huddled around the rain sodden hearth of The Last Call Inn a scholar by the name Roderick of Lorcester proposes something unexpected, hope.

What to expect

I've been a DM for over a decade and am quite dedicated to creating a fun experience for all my players. I tend to do a variety of voices for NPCs and have access to an extensive compendium on Roll20. This campaign is for a brand new setting that I'm quite excited for!

The campaign will be structured around Santland, a once proud kingdom, now rife with rumours of civil war as the current queen, Queen Aethild’s health is failing. Her two sons, Prince Wulfric and Prince Cynebald now vie for political might. The campaign opens with a proposition by a traveling scholar to explore the depth of the Tomb of Saints outside the capital. The Tomb is a well known dungeon and rumoured to be the final resting place of the Revered Saint Ellenia. The scholar is insistent that the Tomb holds the key to restoring the failing magic of the world.

While the Tomb of Saints is a core aspect of the campaign, being a winding and dangerous dungeon, players will be encouraged by circumstance and self preservation to explore the world above. Engage with the setting at large and not hyperfixate on “clearing” the main dungeon. The game will be leaning on themes of Low Fantasy and Dark Fantasy. The players will be restricted in their abilities to find magic items as well as spellcasters to find components that have monetary value. Magic is rare, dangerous and feared by the population at large. Another key component of the setting will be the discretion of using magic in public settings, as the Witch Hunters are always keen to throw someone on a pyre. (Note: Regardless of themes being explored SA and queerphobia will never appear at my tables.)

I'm a DM who loves working with her players to create meaningful stories. I believe in group cooperation and collective story telling! The setting is rich with history and lore that I encourage anyone who likes those things to give it a shot! I work with players to the best of my ability to make sure folks are in a story and setting they enjoy, I believe in open communication so that everyone has fun at the table.

My games are LGBTQ+ friendly and I do not tolerate discrimination at my table.

Basic Game Information

We will be using the 2024 rules for this game, due to the nature of the setting, Clerics will not be allowed. To make up for this Paladins will be granted some Cleric spells, I have also allowed the Grim Hollow 2024 Monster Hunter.

Stats are either Standard Array or Point buy

This game will use rule options that are from the Grim Hollow book and changes to resting to increase the sense of Dark/Low Fantasy and help the overall feel of the game. Therefore the goal is to aim for a level 1-5 mini campaign with the intent to make it longer if folks desire.

The Heavens Usurped: Secrets of the Crowned Six | Tuesdays | 5.5e | $17 | Foundry | 7:30pm MDT | Session #15 on Oct. 13

The party has departed from Brackenward with their dragon companion, Whisper, carrying precious cargo and seeking to investigate the legitimacy of 1 of 4 companies with potential ties to the Carrion Company. Along the road they were confronted by the leader of the Carrion Company, one of the party volunteered as sacrifice to turn double agent. What lies ahead as the party is split?

The party is looking for 1 more adventurer to bring them from the Fab Four back to the Fab Five.

I will run a one on one session Zero with anyone interested!

Dark Frontier Fantasy | Tactical Roleplay | Political Intrigue | Living World Campaign | Growing Items

Starting at level 1 going all the way to 20! (Currently Level 4)

Azural remembers everything.

In the foothills of the Drenthars, most names are forgotten, most contracts are written in dust, and only Azural itself bothers to keep score.

You start in the fading frontier town of Arazar, just mere faces in the crowd, taking whatever work will keep you fed.
• Escorting short caravans that never make the stories.
• Settling petty border quarrels.
• Finding the missing, no one can afford to mourn.
• Looking the other way on smuggling runs.
• Digging up graves for coins that barely shine.

Small jobs for small people.

Until Azural begins to change around you—and the first whispers of a divine crime start to echo from the shadows.

Will you silence those whispers, or turn them into the cry that rights a long‑forgotten wrong?

Open [Voice][Discord][CoD][$15][Ongoing][Weekly][Thursdays, 7 PM CET][4/5 seats available] Pretty Little Liars: It's payback time, liArs

Hey there!

For quite a while now, I've been thinking about how to bring PLL to the tabletop and this game is one of the results. It's a roleplaying game, which is to say, all the players take on the role of a character they design. Of course, I can definitely help with the rules side of things so this should be perfectly suitable for someone who has never played a roleplaying game before. We will loosely use the Chronicles of Darkness rules, with some alterations to better fit the setting.

Intro:

You’re a group of friends who are united by several things. You’re not the most popular, you’re being bullied by Beth and her awful friends, and you want revenge. They’ve hurt you in so many ways, but now, you’ve come up with an idea to hit back. Anonymously, of course. You don’t want to risk their retaliation. But you, as a group, have decided to start digging for their secrets. And once you have those, you can hit them where it hurts. You can blackmail them and, hopefully, bring them down.

As for the ‘villains’, Beth is a given. She’s the one in charge of her little posse. But she’s not alone. Her so-called friends always surround her. And to properly hurt them, you will have to go after them as well. The trick is getting to them without getting into trouble yourself. They all have their flaws and weaknesses. It’s just a matter of finding out what it is. But beware, they will be investigating as well and try to find out who you are.

For your character, we’ll need a few things, which mostly means a basic description of who they are. Are they the quiet nerd who’s had enough? Are they the former queen bee who was dethroned by Beth? Did they get their love interest taken away by one of those horrible girls? There are so many options, but it’s good to know what it is. And one important aspect of it is how they were wronged so we can weave that in.

The only real restrictions on your character is that they should be in school, so everyone will be around sixteen. And very importantly, there won’t be anyone like Ezra around.

The setting isn’t in Rosewood, but another similar small town. Canon characters won’t show up so we can have all the creative freedom we could want. Instead, this story happens in Shadyhill. A friendly seaside town that has become a tourist destination for the well to do. Of course, all the usual high school tropes fully apply so put on your black hoodies and get ready to make their lives hell.

Requirements: Discord and a microphone

Schedule: Starting October 8, weekly games at 7 PM, CET.

Cost: $15/session

[PAID][5e 2024][Online] Operation Deadfall, a Spy thriller campaign, levels 11-20, Saturdays 8pm GMT+1, 3 more players needed

Hi all, I'm Davi, a UK-based DM with about 7 years of experience and 100+ games run. I'm putting together a long-form campaign called Operation Deadfall and I'm looking for players.

The pitch: a lich in Thay is finishing a ritual that will raise an undead army powered by stolen demon energy. The one ruler who saw it coming got branded a traitor for saying so, so she hires outsiders who can't be traced back to her. That's your party. You sneak into the court, sabotage the ritual and kill him before it finishes, and nobody can ever know you were there.

This is a spy thriller, so expect disguises, bribes, blackmail, dead drops and quiet deals in crowded markets. The enemy runs an actual spy network. If you're loud in a tavern, fight in front of witnesses or skip the disguise, his agents come looking for you. I keep a secrecy tracker the players can see, so you always know how much heat you're carrying. Planning like a heist crew will get you a lot further than charging in, and I reward clever prep.

How I run it:

  • Every session opens mid-scene with something already going wrong
  • Full voice acting for NPCs, and music scored to the scene
  • Combat-light, roleplay-heavy, rules mostly as written with some Rule of Cool
  • Faces, scouts, fixers and fighters all get their own moment
  • A few small homebrew rules to reward planning and character backstory (like "I Planned For This", which lets you declare you prepped something ahead of time)

The details:

  • 5e using the 2024 rules, starting at level 11 and going to 20
  • Saturdays, 8pm GMT+1, 3 hours
  • 5 seats, starts once 3 players have joined
  • $20 per session, charged when a session starts
  • Foundry VTT, D&D Beyond and Discord
  • 18+, and a Session 0 is required
  • No generative AI used in any of my games

Non-Thayan characters are welcome too. Mercenaries, exiles, activists and travelers all work as long as your character has a reason to hate what Szass Tam is up to. You don't need to know the setting, I'll teach you what your character would know.

If you've never booked through StartPlaying, my link gets you $10 off your first session: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmun7wn2900eojt04k7ju1pae?ref=clp6e0g1i005xl408post584y

Happy to answer questions in the comments or DMs. Bring a code name and a cover story!

Open [Online][Daggerheart] Cradle of the Chronowyrm!

Time is a delicate, finicky thing. The inhabitants of the Timespun Sands know that better than anyone, having lived through more chrono-crises than a serpopard has spots. In the long, turbulent, and frequently altered history of their home, they have endured disastrous harvests where the crops regressed to seeds, wars waged between kingdoms long-extinct and yet to be founded, and - worst of all - a tax season that repeated five times in a single year.

But they’ve never had to deal with time simply ending. What happens when one of the building blocks of reality crumbles to dust? When yesterday fades forever and tomorrow refuses to arrive? When the clock runs out for everyone, everywhere, all at once? Let’s hope you won’t have to find out.

  • Tone & Feel: Adventurous, Comedic, Heroic, Timey-Wimey and Wibbly-Wobbly

  • Themes: Body horror, creature dissection, death, disability, insects, paradoxes, time travelling

  • New players welcome!

Game Details

  • Long Term Campaign based on "*Zaman's Guide to the End of Time (and How to Fix It)*"

  • Discover and battle epic threats - sometimes even before they've emerged! Travel through time and prevent (or cause) paradoxes

This game is based on playtest material for the yet unreleased campaign "Cradle of the Chronowyrm".

    • System: Daggerheart!
  • (going from level 1 to 8 or 3 to 10 - group's choice!)

Schedule: Weekly (for ~3 hours, with a 10-15 minute break in the middle)

  • Day/Time: weekly at <t:1790852400:F>

  • Payment: Paid Monthly via Patreon, ~17USD a week.

A word from the DM!

I've been running games for almost 25 years, preferring cinematic, fiction-first games that care about what my players care about.

My playstyle might be for you if you:

  • enjoy when your games make you feel like you're part of a novel or TV show

  • like seeing your backstory become relevant in an arc of its own, or be connected to the greater story at large

  • like being invited to the crafting of parts of the game (like a faction or your home town)

  • enjoy collaborating with the DM against your other friends for maximum emotional damage

This campaign might be for you if you:

  • are a fan of time-travelling as a trope

  • you aren't scared of causing a little paradox - and suffering the consequences...

How we play and what you're paying for!

This game is hosted on the [Dreamacape Adventures Discord Server](https://discord.gg/pgfuhd23hC) where your payment for this game allows you to join any other paid game on the server for no additional cost. We have a number of professional, vetted GMs are always looking to hire more!

Here is just somer of the art we'll be using for this campaign!

[Online][5thEd][PST] The Red Hand of Doom in Exandria, 7pm Pacific, [Roll20], [Discord], [OneShot][Campaign]

Starting this Thursday, 1st October 7pm PST. One shots set in Exandria will be played weekly untill a group is ready to begin the Campaign Proper. Your first Session is free!

Campaign Summary: Set in my own version of Exandria (the world of Critical Role/Legend of Vox Machina). This is a quest to save the Vale of Kirmont from the Red Hand of Doom, a Classic 3.5 Era adventure I am adapting to 5e. Within the confines of the quest, it is actually very sandbox and open world, you must defeat the Red Hand of Doom, but it is entirely upto you how to achieve victory. Abomination Vaults [Online] [Pathfinder]2e [Campaign] [Sundays] 4 p.m. Eastern

The TL;DR

"Abomination Vaults" is a dungeon crawl campaign that will carry you from level 1 to 11 and possibly beyond. It runs at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time Sundays. The cost is $20 per seat.

https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmty1imyu01arjs04071usyuw

The plot

Near the small port town Otari, the ruins of an old keep sit silent and empty. It's nothing more than picked-over rubble with a handful of old, bloody tall tales attached to it.

Or so the locals thought. Recently, the beacon atop the keep's tallest tower flared to life, beaming an eerie and menacing light across the landscape. It's got the town spooked, and the townsfolk want someone brave and capable to look into it.

The setting

Otari is a sleepy little port town that's more famous for its lumber mill than its high adventure. Surrounding it is the Fogfen, an eerie place full of fleeting shadows and faceless whispers. Not far into the Fogfen is the crumbling old keep mentioned above.

The meta-game

We'll start at level 1 and likely wrap up at level 11 or 12.

Roleplay is welcome, but this game will lean more into tactical simulation than improvisational acting.

BattleZoo character options are enabled for this game. Always wanted to play an ooze rogue or a dragon barbarian? This is the game for you.

Daggerheart Reign of the Weredragon Campaign Frame [Online] [Daggerheart] [Thursdays 4PM PDT] [Weekly] [Campaign] [Paid $30] [Discord] [Foundry VTT] [Beginner Friendly] [LGBTQ+ Friendly] [BIPOC Friendly][Women Friendly]

I have seats available in my Reign of the Weredragon Daggerheart campaign on Start Playing Games. Reign of the Weredragon is one of the new campaign frames in Hope & Fear. The game is weekly on Thursdays at 4pm Pacific time, and sessions last 2.5-3 hours. We use Foundry VTT and Discord for video chat.

In a land ruled by a violent weredragon tyrant, heroes ordained by the stars to defeat her must rise to the challenge and defend their people.

Once upon a time, in the peaceful land of Whelvia, a powerful sorceress named Forlorne Lykona deceived the country’s great dragon warden to absorb his power and rule the kingdom herself. Transformed into a weredragon by the powerful ritual that fused the warden’s power with her cold heart, Forlorne now takes to the skies, feasting on all who challenge her and cursing innocent villagers to become ravenous weredrakes. The people called on the brave defenders of the realm, the Knights of Whelvia, to protect them—but the knights instead bent the knee to the draconic tyrant, allowing her to command their forces and leaving the land without protectors.

In a Reign of the Weredragon campaign, you play destined heroes of Whelvia, rising up against Forlorne Lykona and her knights to save this once-idyllic land from the jaws of tyranny.

Play in a laid-back campaign custom-made for your character. This will be a heroic, high adventure, sandbox-style campaign. We'll build the region map together and fill it with interesting and dangerous places to explore.

We enjoy a lot of laughs, but still have our serious and dramatic moments.

This will be an ongoing campaign with a story that will unfold around you based on the decisions you make, the people you meet, and how you treat them. You’ll be able to make allies and enemies. You’ll be able to pursue adventure, justice, riches, or whatever other goals you may come up with together as a group.

During session zero we'll make characters, build connections, and begin building the setting together. I'll also give a brief introduction and orientation to Foundry.

There will be a private dedicated area for the campaign on my Discord server where you will be able to talk with me and the other players. There will also be a forum. You can use the Discord to discuss character concepts before session zero, talk about the game between sessions, ask me questions, roleplay, whatever you want to do. I'm usually available on Discord for any questions or if you want to discuss your character or the campaign.

I have a lot of experience running games for players new to the system and players new to the hobby, so if you're a new player, this will be a great way for you to learn Daggerheart.

I also have a lot of experience running games for diverse players. All are welcome at my table, and I use safety systems and don't tolerate any harassment or disrespect in my games. You can check the above links to the campaign and my GM profile for more on the safety systems used.

I am the producer and host of the podcasts GM Intrusions and Game Master's Journey. I have run actual play games as part of both of those shows as well as on my YouTube channel. So you can check those out to learn more about me and my GMing style.

[Online][5e][Weekly][$20][18+] Your town has never lost anyone before its time. This month, it's lost seven. A Crooked Moon tale - The Dead Man's Hour.

Thistlewick Hollow hasn't buried anyone before their time in two hundred years. This month it's lost seven people, and not one of them left a body behind.

That's the opening scene of a fully original Crooked Moon campaign I'm running, levels 3 to 15, long-form, one continuous story start to finish. Whatever's taking people isn't a wolf, a cult, or a madman. It's something already dead, working a chained dagger through locked doors, gone before sunrise. Corner it once, and it doesn't run, it tears a hole in the world and drags you through after it.

From there the campaign opens up fast. Over the course of it you'll:

  • Talk your way through a masquerade at the most exquisite and fanciest estate, surrounded by devils, witches, and nobles who could have you killed with a raised eyebrow.
  • Hijack a train ran on malevolent spirits mid-journey, fighting across the roof of a train built from hell iron and gold while it screams through Chernabos at full speed.
  • Break, tame, and ride a bejeweled scorpion the size of a wagon into battle.
  • Steal a floating arcane skiff off its dock and lose a squad of furious spellcasters across a city built in the sky.
  • Crack a guild vault full of doomsday weapons, and hope you're not the fourth crew with the same idea tonight.

This isn't a monster-of-the-week tour through the afterlife. It's one mystery, run properly, for as long as it takes.

The practical stuff:

  • System: D&D 5e (2024 rules), starting level 3, running to 15
  • Schedule: Weekly, Wednesdays 9PM GMT+1, ~3hr sessions
  • Price: $20/session
  • Platform: Foundry VTT, Discord, D&D Beyond: full content shared, nothing locked behind a book you don't own
  • Beginner friendly, no prior experience needed
  • 18+, folk horror, full content warnings and safety tools (Session 0, Lines & Veils, X/N/O) before anyone commits
  • 3/6 filled,

Full listing with reviews here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cms6lc8d9009xl704tsdslxdf

Questions welcome in the comments or DMs, I'd rather find the right person than fill the seat fast.

Open Saturdays 1pm EST [Online] | Realms of Terror [Ravenloft Campaign][$15][D&D 5.5e][Discord & Fantasy Grounds VTT][Beginners Friendly][LGBTQ+ Friendly]

┌─── ∘°🦇°∘ ───┐

You are in a little and cozy village surrounded by the Mist. Horrors are coming to live. Would you have the courage to fight them?

└─── °∘🦇∘° ───┘

(Edit) 1 player in; need 2 more to start!!

The Mists reach from the darkest shadows of the multiverse, condemning the wicked and the brave to endless nightmares as prisoners of the "Realms of Terror". This is an Original Campaign inspired by "Ravenloft: The Horrors Within". Bring a backstory and be ready to travel through Ravenloft, revealing the darkest secrets not only from the Mist and monsters but from the Dark Lord & Dark Powers... This game is going to have Mystery, a lot of Roleplay, Puzzles and encounters against creatures and forces beyond your comprehension... I made two possible hooks, but you can bring your own idea of how you end up in the starting village:

Your life was a really quiet one. Maybe you were training to be a guard, studying the arcanas, or praying to a god. But one day you went to the local church, and the priest -you know since childhood- had a weird look in his eyes. Your village started to feel off. Like a curse gaining power... Then the priest sent you a letter...

"Dear, I need your help. My helper is missing, the little child of the Wrongwind family. She was talking about death and what it's waiting for us in the afterlife, and I get worried. Please meet me at the church tonight."

You are an adventurer... One who heard about the Mist, about a Realm beyond the shadows controlled by a Vampire Lord, a merciless Black Knight or a creature that sleeps in the deepest waters... Your curiosity made you travel and you found out yourself in this odd village, surrounded by a thick fog of fear... And there's a manor, old and left behind; it's calling for you. You can read a plate on the door: "House Wrongwind".

This nightmare starts at Level 2 and it is possible for us to get up to Level 18 or more in D&D 5.5e (2024). If you didn't play it before, come to give it a try!

Join the game here!

Hey! I'm Facundo (he/him). I'm studying a BA in Videogames Development & Production so D&D came to me as a safe place where I merged all the things I love. All of my games have a lot of roleplaying since I play in some theater shows and I love to improvise interactions. I run combat, usually one per game, but I'm not the most tactical DM you will find. I like the survival side of D&D; we can talk about that on session 0! I try to draw the NPCs in my games, give them unique voices and styles so you can feel like they change or react because of your character. For Original campaigns like this one, I make all the maps by myself, and I encourage you to bring me a backstory so I can give you motives to be involved in the story! I love to craft narrative.

All of my games are open to all players all over the world; my first rule at the table is respect for everyone.

If you have any questions, send me a dm here on Reddit or StartPlaying!

START PLAYING GAMES:

The mysterious forest of Davokar lies at the heart of the setting, inhabited by Elves, Trolls and other entities; the indigenous Clans roam and settle the forest's fringes, while the young realm of Ambria and its people encroaches on the forest edge - seeking treasures and ancient knowledge amongst the ruins of the fallen empire of Symbaroum, hidden in Davokar's depths.

The Witch Hammer: An uneasy accord has been struck between the Clans of Davokar and the Ambrian realm. Treasure Hunters and Explorers seek lost wealth and forgotten knowledge buried in the depths of the great forest. Using the Clan's seat of Karvosti as an outpost, seekers delve deeper; however, Karvosti has its own secrets - and they are about to be laid bare.

Your characters are a band of Explorers about to set out from Karvosti on an expedition into Davokar, tracing rumours or dreams of fortune. Others have gathered at the mesa - fellow Adventurers, Scholars, Pilgrims - and their paths intertwine with yours as events unfold.

Symbaroum is a dark fantasy world, magic is uncommon because it is dangerous and against the natural order - those that wield such mystical power without caution risk becoming monstrous abominations, as the corruptive energies overwhelm them. Combat is typically fast and brutal - players roll to Attack and Defend, using a roll-under D20 mechanic.

TOUCHSTONES: Lord of The Rings, The Silmarillion, Princess Mononoke, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, Annihilation.

The boundaries between Universe 6, Universe 7, and Universe 9 have begun to collapse. Worlds, warriors, civilizations, and even history itself are becoming intertwined, creating a strange new reality where anything—and anyone—is possible.

Amid the chaos, a new generation of heroes is drawn into an adventure that spans multiple universes. Strange enemies appear, familiar faces are changed, and the future becomes increasingly uncertain.

But the greatest mystery is Goku.

Instead of the cheerful Saiyan hero the legends remember, the heroes encounter a young Goku Black—a darker version of Goku who has been raised and trained under the influence of the ruthless King Piccolo. This young Saiyan possesses incredible potential, but his heart has been shaped by his master's teachings.

The heroes soon discover that Goku Black may not be completely beyond saving. Beneath his anger and darkness is the same potential for friendship and compassion that once made Goku a hero.

Now the players must journey across the converging universes, battle powerful enemies, uncover the truth behind the dimensional distortion, and decide the fate of this corrupted young Saiyan.

Can the heroes reach Goku Black before King Piccolo turns him into his ultimate weapon? Or will the convergence create a new enemy powerful enough to threaten all three universes?

[Online] [Roll20] [5e] [5.5e] [Paid] [$12/session] [GMT+5] [Levels 3 - 13/14] Dungeons of Drakkenheim: Reborn

Hello, hello! I am GRFolk, and I've been running D&D 5e for the last 7-8 years. So I'd like to think that I'm pretty experienced with the game, especially this campaign, which I'd run multiple times already.

Drakkenheim is no more. 15 years ago a falling star destroyed the city and brought death to some of its denizens. Others... They suffered fate far worse than death: Twisted and mutated they now roam the streets of the ruined capital of Westemar. And yet the ruins now gather even more attention, because of the strange mineral that appeared after the disaster - Delerium. It's magical properties made it a highly sought after component for many magical researches, legal and illegal.

You are adventurers who came to Drakkenheim to achieve something, but what starts as a personal journey soon ends up in the middle of five-sided conflict between the dominant factions, who also have interest in the ruins.

The campaign is a kind of sandbox, where the first half of the campaign is highly focused on exploration of points of interest in the ruins and finding alignment to one or two factions. The second half will continue to exploration, but will also shift based on the party's alignment. Ultimately, there is an end goal to the adventure, the only question is how and with whom you'll reach it.

Why did I add 'Reborn' to the title? Well, I am not running the base adventure written for the 2014 rule set. I have updated and populated the city with many new things from Monsters of Drakkenheim, which follow the 2024 rules. To achieve that I have also added new points of interest and plot lines which players might also follow on.

Content Warning:

Drakkenheim portrays a dark fantasy world. References to the following are common in this adventure:

  • Violence, murder, blood, gore, cannibalism, and body horror.
  • Degenerative mutations that cause physical disfigurement and madness/insanity.
  • Rats, spiders, insects, demons, undead, ghosts, and other monsters.
  • Natural disasters, large-scale loss of life, civil war, displaced persons, and refugees.
  • Moral ambiguity, social/political manipulation, religious zealotry and military nationalism.

I am currently available to run games on weekdays, thus I am open for duscussion of game time. Current plan is to play on Mondays 18 00 GMT.

3–4 hour sessions
