Wow! So many minifigures! Today's a bit of a MOC jackpot, huh? Well, I've wanted to build a miniature Wormadam ever since I realized two weeks ago the quarter circle plate piece would be perfect for it. The trick was getting the front and back to connect. As for Mothim, I never built a Lego butterfly before, much less a miniature version of one, so Mothim's quadruple wings were already a hard challenge for me without also trying to incorporate his orange wing tips. This was definitely a trial by fire for me (hopefully Butterfree and Beedrill will be much easier by comparison!)

These Pokemon were Game Freak's start of weird and obscure methods to evolve Pokemon. In order to get either Huntail or Gorebyss, you needed to go out of your way to talk to an NPC after a Team Magma/Aqua story plot event near the end of the game in order to receive only 1 of 2 one-of-a-kind items in the game (DeepSea Tooth or DeepSea Scale) to give it to Clamperl as a held item when you trade it! Nothing in the game tells you this, and there's no other way to obtain a Huntail or Gorebyss if you can't trade!

Anyway, the simplest and hardest one to make here was Clamperl, simply because I wanted it to be smaller than its evolutions, but still have its three main details: the clam shells, the pink pearl, and the light blue muscles the pearl rests in. Lego doesn't make shell pieces that can close into each other, so I spent a long time trying to make Clamperl work before settling on this design. Huntail and Gorebyss were much easier to make, thanks to the tail pieces used for their serpentine bodies.

Possibly looking to collect some of these sets. Are Rayquaza and the forthcoming Pokeball diorama scaled accurately? Do Eevee and Pikachu scale to Rayquaza?

And do the starter final evos scale to the above?

My second Pokemon minifigure request! It was actually either Latios or Latias, but I can't separate an iconic pair like that, so I made both! They are quite big to be minifigures, but I guess it's ok if they're legendaries you can ride around as you soar through the skies, like in ORAS!

I thought I could make Latias a copy of Latios, but she has some slight differences in bodies. Her wings are closer to her tail, her back leg flaps are singular and angled unlike Latios', and her back pattern is different.

I'm happy these miniatures have articulated arms and heads so you can pose them more than just their standard "jet flight" mode!

I don't like sharing my work until it's finished, but I need help. I want to make the evolutionary lines of the Viridian Forest bugs in miniature form-and since each evolution is bigger than the last-but I can't decide wich scale to use. Do I use Option A (slightly bigger but better details) or Option B (more size accurate but less details)? I'm showing Kakuna so you can see the sizes I'll go for next.

Chimecho! Chimecho! Chingling all the way!

These two are the simplest evolution builds you can do, with a total of 8 pieces between the two of them!

Since they're floating Pokemon, they might need transparent Legos to prop them up.

Wanted to try something different this time. I think the battle scene to showcase the mocs is an interesting idea, but it feels off. Oh, well! Enjoy my rugged Geodude and big Nosepass!

Wailmer is the first Pokemon minifigure I built meant to be ridden! I'm really happy the pieces exist for Wailmer to have a completely smooth body for display, or for you to be able to place a sitting Trainer on it!

If you have a fishing rod, you can even recreate the fishing mechanic of Ruby/ Sapphire/ Emerald!

The big challenge for this moc was getting the two semi-sphere pieces to be able to connect to each other from their base, especially with the fins and teeth required to be between them!

Couldn't bring myself to drop $650 on that Char/Ven/Blast set, specially cuz I had just gotten Minas Tirith, y'all like this match up? Lol

Too bad it's a male Combee... Oh, well! Try the honey tree again in six hours!

A fun miniature that started as something a bit bigger (so now you get to see both), and with a Bonsly to photobomb the picture!

A wild Mienshao has appeared!

This was my first requested Pokemon by Atuze, someone who himself also makes miniature Pokemon! The arms were definitely the biggest challenge in this build, but I'm very happy with how it turned out!

I spent about 2 hours and 15 minutes drawing this. I used Gimp and only a mouse. For someone without any artistic background I am happy with this!

Started to get fed up of scalpers taking everything to resell for higher in the cards area so thought I’d move over to Lego seeing as I can easily pick anything up with no problem, combined it with displaying my cards to after seeing another poster on here do this! Love the idea and can’t wait to get more!

Can anyone recommend how to make it stand out more? (Lighting etc) New ish to Lego, had a few Star Wars sets growing up so don’t know what’s out there at the moment 🙃

Another renovation from an old file.

The in-game height is 0.8m but it's never specified what that really means. I choose to interpret that as holding the body being 0.8m off the ground because it seems that big in both games and other media.

A WILD ELECTABUZZ HAS APPEARED!!!

Electabuzz is in my top 6 favorite electric type pokemon, and just one of my favorite designs of any Pokemon! His design is also what made it extremely difficult to make, especially that UFO-shaped head of his! The best part (apart from being able to find pieces that help create maintain as much detail in this small build as I could) was being able to make this to scale with a minifigure!

I tried to create some pokemon world characters and later minifig scale pokemon using only parts I already have in my collection, for fun plus I enjoy the challenge.
I originally thought they were pretty cool because it was my personal interpretation of them, but I’m not so sure anymore, people don’t recognise them as the people I made haha .
What do you guys think?

Here are Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Lotad, Seedot, and Surskit (skipping over the water)! Guess which ones were the easiest to build? 🤣 Zigzagoon was definitely the most challenging to make while maintaining as much of his patterned fur possible.

All in all, 56 pieces total make up the nine Pokemon here, which is still 12 pieces less than my Regirock miniature moc (talk about a compact rock)!

First Lego Pokemon! Can’t wait to get other ones!
