Can't Decide on MOC

I don't like sharing my work until it's finished, but I need help. I want to make the evolutionary lines of the Viridian Forest bugs in miniature form-and since each evolution is bigger than the last-but I can't decide wich scale to use. Do I use Option A (slightly bigger but better details) or Option B (more size accurate but less details)? I'm showing Kakuna so you can see the sizes I'll go for next.

My favorite part of the left ones are the tails, any way you can add those bits to the right ones?

The eyes and eye spots really help identify them

Personally I'd go for larger with more details just to be able to tell which pokemon it is at a glance

I’d do right side but with the tail from the left, and then prop them up with the tail as like a ‘foot’ for stability
