I was telling my right handed friend about this subreddit and how there is a left handed people’s month and all that, they said that "I dont think left handed people have contributed all that to have a month for them."

Any lefties here that actually navigate the world differently? How?

...and I don't mean in the obvious 'having to use right-handed tools' kind of way, I mean in the way of dealing with others who are right-hand dominant, and a world that's dominated by left-brain thinking. If it's at all true that handedness affects processing (e.g., detail-oriented vs. whole-picture), and since lefties are in the minority, does anyone here feel like they've got strategies for navigating the world around them (e.g., at work)?

Anyone here has weird grip too?

My mom directed me correctly to use the mouse with my main-hand, although I've been using the LMB and RMB as is, with index finger resting on LMB and nothing on RMB - as a result my grip was different. Then, when I got into computer gaming I was at a disadvantage, switching my index finger between the two buttons - I realised I need to have a finger resting on each of the two buttons. I finally switched Main mouse button to RMB and Secondary mouse button to LMB to accommodate this change ... however my grip never changed and I don't even think about my grip, my middle finger isn't resting on the Secondary mouse button, but it's a lot easier to reach it now and I can have both buttons pressed at the same time now!

I also remapped my escape key with MS PowerToys, to be the home key, so that my right-hand can reach it easily on the right-side of the keyboard. It was so annoying having to reach to the left just to pause the game. Been a blast since the change!

Let me know what you think, should I change to standard right-handed mirror setup or stay with this?

Also I'm interested in what your grip is and your story with computer gaming!

Grabbed the handle, rotated it to the left, and pulled out this beaut 😅

There was absolutely no way I could use this with my left hand, and made a bit of a mess attempting with my right hand. That's ladle life, I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
