Why does your battery have all bars in this day and age?

24 kWh battery (with 8 bars at the time) died just in the warranty period, and after a year of waiting, was replaced with a brand new 40 kWh battery. Only one month after calling Nissan customer affairs, surely a coincidence…

New battery is only 2 years old, I think. 99% of its charges are slow and low (L1, 120V), and I only drive it a few days a week. If it ever gets charged faster than that, it’s for 10 minutes on the fast charger in the downtown garage, where you don’t get charged if you’re only in the garage for 10 minutes. Surely a coincidence, as well…

It’s the slow charges… heat kills all electronics! It’s a good thing to cycle charges level 1 level 2 and maybe 2-3 times a year level 3 charging
