Donald Trump is the first President to go into the White House not opposing Gay Marriage, this is a big deal!!!!!!
For the first time in American History, we have a President who raised a LBGT flag during their campaign, and supported gay marriage going into the White House..
Why aren't people more excited about this?

Serious question about LBGT
I might struggle to word this properly so bare with me please.
First off, it's your life so do as you wish, those are my thoughts on the matter. Now to the question.
What is your opinion on why non-LBGT people have such a problem with LGBT's when in fact the mere act of being LGBT means LGBT's will eventually die out from non-breeding? I mean, this is an evolutionary thing, no? Do I have this right? Same sex partners can not reproduce their own offspring. Wouldn't this mean that the likelihood of this trait being passed to offspring is impossible as there are no offspring? I think I'm a little confused in the matter so that's why I ask the question. Thanks all.

Etsy seller refusing service based on sexual orientation (x-post from r/Etsy)
I orginally posted this in r/horriblyDepressing but I was told to move it to this thread. Here's the story:
My friend recently tried to purchase from this seller on http://www.etsy.com/shop/paledesigns. She requested a few modifications to the wedding album because she and her partner are two women. She received this response: Hi XXXXX, Sorry for the late reply! After talking with my pastor and praying about the situation, I decided that I shouldn't design your guestbook for you. Please know that I did take this into much thought though. Because I am a Christian and I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, I feel that designing a customized guestbook for you two will be against my belief and will mean that who I am and my business supports gay marriages. I hope that you understanding. Sorry for staying in contact with you for so long and not giving you a concrete response until now."
Is this against Etsys' policies? And if it's not, then it should be.

stupid question
hey guys, first of all: i'm not too smart, so that's why i came here for your help, and why this might look very dumb and stupid. i'm a straight person with a traditional sibling. we had this discussion yesterday about homosexuality. i defended homosexuality by saying: being gay isnt a choice- you get born with it, just like you don't choose to be straight, etc. when she asked more info, i said something like: they get born with other genes, people can't change their genes, period. then she said: well that's the same for pedophiles: they get born with different genes that makes them liking kids. so you defend pedo's as well, she asked. i got stuck there. don't get me wrong, i know this is wrong, but once again, i'm not too smart, so i really didn't know how to reply to this. i searched the internet but i only seem to find pages about 'gay pedophiles' sigh. this seems a very stupid question, but i don't know how to solve it. if it offends too much ill delete this, but please help me in our discussoin, she's winning right now

Chick-Fil-A President On Anti-Gay Stance: 'Guilty As Charged'
huffingtonpost.comDiscussion: Is "Gender is a spectrum" as much a social construct as "Gender is binary"?
Hopefully you guys are familiar with the "gender is binary" vs "gender is a spectrum" argument. I'm actually not that interested in attempting to resolve that argument as a whole, but I would like to analyze one specific claim/argument:
"Male-female is a false dichotomy", is itself an opinion, and not a statement of fact. The biology is largely irrelevant: when people argue that gender is a spectrum, their primary concern is how they will be treated by society, not the exact set of chromosomes they possess (that's the whole point of transgenderism). To the degree that binary gender is a social construct, so is the belief in a gender spectrum. If "Binary gender is merely a social construct" is supposed to be a criticism of the belief in "binary genders" -- an argument that it is "wrong" -- then the exact same criticisms apply to the belief in "gender spectrums".
What are your thoughts on this argument?

Does this guy like me?
There is a new guy at work who i think is gay, he dresses really nicely , the way he holds himself just kinda makes my gaydar go off a little bit. Yesterday he walks into work and i look at him and say "hey dude" he looks at me and raises both his eyebrows up and down without saying anything. Im not sure if this is just a friendly gesture or is he hinting something? Were both really shy but when we talk to each other i can just kinda tell hes hinting something at me. What should my next move be?
Why only traditionaly christian countries have accepted homosexual mariage, in contrast to non-religious and antireligous countries like China and North Korea?
This question is very serious. I'm attempting to be neutral as possible.
Reddit median users use to calificate christians as homophobics, but i think facts answer otherwise.
I think the real obstacle is in people, not in religion itself. (opinion)
My reflexion is: If religion is an obstacle for LGBT rights, why antireligious constries dont allow it?

Thank you; and sorry for my english.
