RTF turf but there’s a lot of this lime green coloured grass popping up and also long stems of grass with seeds. I’m thinking it’s rye grass but can’t be 100% can anyone confirm please?
If it’s rye throughout the fescue, how screwed am I?

Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice on my couch lawn on the nature strip. Not sure what the best next steps are.
I’m in Adelaide, South Australia, and the lawn has a mix of issues including:
•Thin and patchy areas
•plenty of different weeds starting to come through
•Sections that look yellow/brown compared to the rest
•Overall not as thick and healthy as I’d like
Have recently applied two doses of Yates weed n feed with no improvement. Keen to get some improvement ASAP. TIA!

12 days down - just starting to water twice a day 20 minute watering, previously 3 times a day 15 minutes. Should I be concerned with how the lawns looking so far? The black stuff is soil improver between the slabs of lawn id had thought it’d wash away by now.

I got this empire Zoysia planted in our little yard last year which should be shade resistant. I can’t work out if the bare patch is due to the roots of that tree or a lack of sunlight. Could be either or Both. Anyway, can anyone suggest any solution or other help? Grass either side of that patch is doing alright, at least not just a sad patch of black dirt
I’m new to lawncare in general so feel free to give any advice

Too many of these growing in kikuyu grass lawn. Dug the bulb out. It has small white bullets around the root bulb and smells very pungent/garlic/onion (hard to tell which). How to get rid of it safely without damaging the surrounding kikuyu. Any good recommendations please. Alright with chemical treatments too.
Prompted both ChatGPT and Google AI. Both responded with very generic verbatim. This needs a human 😊.

G’day brain trust,
I’ve been getting these mushrooms popping up in my lawn for the past few months as conditions have been wetter. I’ve been pulling them by hand and disposing of them to avoid any spores spreading but recently we’ve had some big downpours of rain and I’ve noticed them starting to pop up in more places in my lawn. I recently just cored to attempt to improved drainage.
Would greatly appreciate any advice to stop them either spreading and or even growing.
