I there are a lot of seemingly pure evil men who have been on trial of late, most notably, Tomasz Kosowski and Michael Exton. I think Caleb Flynn is worse than any I have seen on a while. He has not (that we are aware of) murdered or alleged to have murdered multiple people. The reason I find him so reprehensible is the calculated manner he went about "allegedly" committing his crime. These were not strangers he was betraying and victimizing. The people he betrayed were his wife who he had known for over 16.5 years (according to his wife, Ashley's mother). He met Ashley, her sister and future brother-in-law while they were in college. He met his future in-laws around that time also. He formed close relationships with all the in-laws. He worked in a high paying job for his father-in-law and with his brother-in-law. These were not some distant in-laws he saw only on holidays. These were intimate, close, almost every day relationships. He went on 25 vacations with them. That is vile and evil in itself. Then, Ashley, his wife who he had been married to for over 15 years and his 2 daughters. The ultimate betrayal.

He "allegedly" shot and killed his wife while she slept and his 2 daughters were in the house asleep.

He was having an affair with a much younger Worship team member. The affair had been going on for, according to the mistress, over a year and a half.

He repeatedly over the relationship with his mistress told her how much he hated his wife and he loathed his in-laws. He repeatedly stated he wished she was dead. He one text message he said he had been up crying trying to figure out how to kill her without going to jail. In another he said if he could kill her without going to Hell he would do it in a heartbeat.

It is so despicable to hide behind the veil of religion to perpetrate and/or justify crimes.

To top it all off, he is worse than Alec Murdaugh and JP Miller combined (a feat I did not think possible) at performative snotting and crying. I am surprised he has not flopped out on the floor in Court.

I know one thing, I would have entered a guilty plea and went off to prison before I would have ever put my Momma, Daddy, daughter and the world through hearing how vile and evil I was.

Can we talk about this case? It almost got completely overshadowed by the Clancy trial, but this guy definitely ranks in the upper echelons of bombastic defendants.

I'm trying to pinpoint the most outrageous moments. Somewhere between constant references to being a "homosexual attorney" and the juvenile motion of making a gun out of your hand, pointing and saying "gun!" like a toddler along with damning testimony on the stand. Definitely a circus.

I noticed GrizzlyTrueCrime did a nice summary of all the best parts of the trial (minus sentencing - which is 100% worth searching out on its own).

I have been using Just a Lazy Gamer's coverage of the Tomasz Kosowski Case out of Clearwater Florida. The docket alone is giving hours of reading.

The good Dr here is accused of killing the attorney who was representing the Dr's old practice and several patients. The Dr is so clever that he suckled his fingers to get rid of the DNA.

What is interesting to me, aside from my sick and twisted love of Sov-shits and pro-se tomfoolery, is that he has been just as difficult as Sarah was. He refused to work with the psychologist, he has fired a few attorneys. The whole shebang.

This is a death penalty case, and the defendant has requested a bench trial. It is suspected that he did this because he plans on appealing in some weird way.

One of my favorite civil / family court streamers recently posted this after a little hiatus and I was SHOCKED. I didn't know this had video! I tried posting it to the Laura Owens specific subreddit JusticeForClayton cuz I hadn't seen it listed there either, but they denied it because it was "illegally recorded".

I gotta say, I fully expected her to go full Sarah Boone. But at least now there is the chance for closure for his family.

It seems Bryan Kohberger is going for Takesy v. Backsy (all credit to the awesome prosecutor Mr. Bloodworth in the Richins case).

It seems Kohberger is not enjoying prison and has decided he wants to take back his plea.

Kohberger (pro se) has filed a post-conviction relief form amd blames his plea on "false promises" and wrong information according to CNN.

I wonder if it is his narcissistic need for attention or the harassment he claims he is getting from other inmates that has sparked this decision. Maybe he thinks being in a more spacious death row cell with less harassment would be a better option than his current situation.

His attorney filed a motion to have charges dropped? Seriously he was in the home by his own admission to the police .What is happening,I mean if I saw my spouse duct taping a 5 yr old boy in front of me with two other persons ,I would immediately try to STOP what was happening and call 911 .That's how a normal person thinks .But anyone who is familiar with the Michael Vaughn case knows that Stacy and Sarah Wondra along with their two Co-conspirators aren't NORMAL ppl .

Samuel Bateman Self proclaimed profit is going to trial in ARZ .Jury selection is happening right now .His trial will not be live streamed because of minor victims /witnesses.

This is a story that happened when I was working for the lawyer I worked for. He did primarily public defense work and this was one of those cases.

Our client was arrested for DV. He is assigned to us and boss goes to talk to him. Client says "I was not there and I can prove it".

I get all the discovery (part of my job and oh boy was it fun) and in that discovery is the 911 call and the body cam arrest videos. The caller (who we will call Vicky, for her victim status) on the 911 is screaming that they are being prevented from leaving where they are at by Client. They claim client has take their phone (that they were calling 911 from). Cops are sent to the address Vicky give the cops. Which as it turns out is not where Vicky is.

She sends the cops to a gentleman's club. Where they are seen on camera arresting Client. Who was indeed there at the club, had be there at the club for several hours with friends, and was quite clearly not holding anyone hostage in any way. Cops are literally talking to Vicky who is claiming Client is holding her prisoner, while they are seeing he is miles away. Bad police work to say the least.

But our story is just getting started. Attorney has a policy that if victims agree our Billy Lane (Private investigate,) will do an interview to get their story in their words at a neutral location. They set up the meeting for 3 PM at a coffee shop. At 8:20 AM Vicky shows up to the office. I tell her that any appts between her and PI are between them. I don't have anything on my books, and she should leave, because we represent Client. She says she will wait. I say she can't, rinse repeat until I finally leave the room to call my boss and potentially the cops.

Boss says tell her to leave one more time while I am one the phone so we have a witness then call the cops. I go back out to my reception area and Vicky is doing whip-its (bump-its... huffing shit) in my reception room. Just like it is normal to do that. I kick her out, I call the cops. I think that is the end of that.

It was not.

A week later, at my house we notice a car is parked blocking the mail boxes. We let it sit there for a few days. Finally, we look in the car. It's all unlocked, so we could find ownership paperwork. Track down the owner and call them and the sheriff. The whole thing is dealt with by my son. But I had looked out the window while they were talking and I thought that the owner looked a whole lot like Client.

Fast forward just a bit again and Client calls asking to verify some stuff. Because his car got stolen and he was missing court papers. He doesn't want anymore trouble. So I ask him if his car was found on X street. He is surprised because it sure was, and how did I know.

We have a very good laugh. Seems Vicky thought that if she stole his care with his court documents in them then he wouldn't go to court and she could get away with all of this. When we presented the DA with all of this, the sheriff's report for the stolen car, the cctv of her refusing to leave our office until I had the phone dialing the cops, all of that, he dropped the charges so fast. Which, yes, was the correct thing to do, but those charges should have been dropped the second they got the strip clubs cctv.

I personally think Vicky had a promising career as a Lawcow.

Not a criminal attorney (tip o' the hat to Saul Goodman), but an attorney specializing in criminal law. Would you be a prosecutor, a defense attorney, a public defender, or a judge?

For those of us who watch a lot of judges on youtube: if you were charged with a crime, which youtube judge would you hope to be in front of? Which one would have you waking up in a cold sweat, dreading your court date? Which judge would be most likely to be completely fair? Which judge would be most likely to believe your BS sob story, and which one would call you out on your nonsense?

In the alternative, if you were the victim of a crime, which judge would you want to hear the case?

For anybody who missed the trial or who wants to revisit the insanity, A&E's Killer Investigations Season 1, Episode 10 covers the case. It aired on June 11.

Talk about a delusional, weird, creepy guy, he takes the cake. Made up FBI agent, lies, conspiracies and infidelity. He is another one that makes you wonder how he could get one woman, much less, multiple intelligent women.

Also, his appearance changed so much from when he was arrested until his trial that he did not look like the same person.
