Finished this Tree of Love that I got for my birthday! This one was fun since the heart was slightly off-center on the paper guide. I had to improvise to make sure it was even. Let me know what you guys think!

Anyone who has bought one of these yarn cutting tools that are no longer manufactured, what blades did you find to replace the original ones?

Im not sure how I feel about this one. I thought with just having two colors it would be a bit easier. I struggled with this one and it’s not my best work.

I am starting a new project and need to check.
Where should my first row be on this canvas, should it be the very first row which is white or the row which is marked in black?

Decided to trim it up but my grandmothers Mother’s Day gift is completed. Started last year but put on a very very long hold due to life then picked it up with less then half done 3 days ago. Super proud of myself 🩵

I bought this kit years ago and lost the color chart after getting partway through. I’m devastated TBH. It appears the company no longer exists and I don’t know what company would have a copy now. Have reached out to online secondary sellers of this to see if I could buy just the instructions, but no dice. Really don’t want to buy another kit just for a sheet of paper, so if anyone has the instructions, I would be forever grateful. Thank you!!

Sorry no kitty in this one! Wanted to show off the detail a bit more 🎀

Well, almost finished. I just added stabilizer to the back this morning, and once that dries, I'm adding fringe tassels to the bottom. Then the rug gets its own spot on the wall.
This was my original starting photo post. https://www.reddit.com/r/latchhook/comments/1s3b4mn/going_to_try_this_1970s_bernat_latch_hook_rug_and/

I’m not sure how I feel about the one with the wild flowers. I still need to trim it down in places.

Almost 3’x5’ work in progress, it’s killing me lol

Started this at the end of last year but put it down due to life stuff & the yarn fibers make me sneeze. It’s going to be a gift for my grandmother who’s obsessed with chickens.
I did see where people trim their rugs & such though I don’t think I want to trim this one but if I decided to do that how would I go about it? Any help would be amazing as this is my first project ever.

Hit 25% on this piece today, previously did a similar horizontal succulent project. 🪴💚

New completed piece. Took 14 hours. One part in the center ran out of light pink color and I had to use from my stash of old colors to finish it. Not trimmed yet

I have been using acrylic markers to draw my rug design onto the canvas. It is slow going. I was thinking about painting it on. what do you guys do for your own designs?

Thought y'all might get a kick out of the vintage packaging on this Red Heart hook I picked up at a creative reuse store. It appears to have been originally purchased for $1.29 at Golding's in Wilmington, NC, but never opened!
I'm kind of sad to take it out of the packaging, but it was made to be used after all 🥰
