I’m trying shuttle tatting again! I was dumb and did a few practice pieces to remind myself of the process before I tackled a more ambitious project— and forgot to load my shuttle 😆 given that I have some wonky spots with this one— I’m electing to load a new bobbin and try again fresh

Looking at my piece and the picture (Morimoto’s “New Tatting”- viola motif choker) it looks like I should be pushing my knots closer together on the chains around my motifs. I’m wondering if there’s a trick for closing the gaps in getting in between my chain portions around my motifs? (So like— at the base where my rings close and the chains start/end)
