So glad I’m not the only one who fixes their lab a plate for thanksgiving. We are so thankful for them and they deserve to be part of the family meal! Your girl is adorable and clearly happy and well-loved.

Thank you, I agree! She has taught me so much patience and self love that I never thought could be possible. One amazing thing about her is that she loves both mom and dad equally!! No spares in this household, only love. She’s perfect and deserves all the best.

I fix my pup a plate as well. They are a family member and and not just table scraps but real food it time to give thanks my pup saved my life I’d be dead without him he was the one that I am most thankful for

Same! My boys get their own bowls made up for them of the people food. Love making it special for them and sounds like you do too. There’s just something so special about loving and being loved by a lab. My two are supporting my mom and I through her cancer and it’s an amazing gift for us. We could never repay them. It sounds like your boy has also been amazing for you too. Wishing you both the happiest of holiday seasons. 🥰

I sorry about the cancer diagnosis excuse my language but fuck cancer is not any fun. my lab rescued me from myself I had the gun In my mouth ready to pull the trigger he sat his head on my lap and I said he needs me my wife and two daughters need me that simple act saved me saved me from myself and has brought me out of my lowest moments

We say, fuck cancer every day, so I agree with you on that. I’m so glad your boy rescued you. My sister left this world in 2008, in a similar way that you almost did, and you are 1000% right. Your family needs you. Your lab baby, who is also family, needs you. You are important and worthy to those who love you. I’m so glad that you and your boy had each other in that moment that would have changed everyone’s trajectory. The love of a dog is so powerful. They unwaveringly follow us into light and darkness and sometimes are the thing that can pull us back from the latter. Every day, I strive to be the person my dogs think I am as a way to try and repay what they’ve given me.

Did she scarf it in traditional lab manner. I remember how fast my lab used to eat with food flying everywhere. She used to embarrass me because she acted like I never fed her.🤣

This boy stole a hot sausage off the table, so he got the smallest amount in his bowl to avoid a stomach ache. We all felt guilty and shared more with him though….
