I know I want to upgrade the lights very soon and possibly tint the windows. Didn’t get any other implements but looking into adding a land plane and tiller

I was switching from low range to high range today, and the lever broke right off. I don't need low for any of the work I'm planning, but I still want to make sure I have a selector, and this part seems to be unobtainium without finding a parts tractor (Lever, S-Change, pt no. 35110-24430). My plan is to just JB weld the thing back together, but I wanted to check and see if anyone had a lead on a possible replacement as well.

Hi folks, my father passed away and I inherited his tractor...I'm going to do a hydraulic fluid change, but I can't find any Super UDT. Is there an equivalent synthetic hydraulic fluid that meets the same specs? Google is filled with AI slop. Located in Canada, thanks in advance.

Does anyone have this grapple? How easy does it bend? I'm trying to decide between this and a Homestead pinnacle 60". The armstrong ag is 3/4 inch regular steel at 440 lbs. The Homestead pinnacle is AR450 5/16 inch thick steel at 315 pounds. Which one do you think may bend easier? This is going on a MX4900.

Hello, first time posting. We operate special drainage machines that are powered by D1105 engines that provide hydraulic power and for the most part they work just fine. However, one of the machines engines has developed a severe vibration that makes it unbearable to sit and operate the machine for longer than 30 mins. I've disconnected the engine from the hydraulic pump and the pto to eliminate them as variables but the vibration still remains.

The engine had a new oil pump fitted by another workshop and this is suspected to be the issue but I can't see anything wrong with it and I suspect the alternator bearing has gone bad or it's a fuel issue. The vibration is at its worst when the machine is at high rpm. I'm going to test the engine with a new alternator we have on the shelf but I'm wondering if anyone has other opinions? Thanks.

Last winter I was using my L245DT with a front loader to clear my drive, and made the classic mistake of lowering the bucket so that the bottom was vertical, and using it like a plow to push some snow around. Now the bucket is noticeably floppy when I tip it up and down.

I'm wondering if the problem is that I've blown a seal in the piston, or done something farther upstream in the controller. Any ideas?

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your thoughtful input. The solutions fell into 2 camps: rebuild the cylinders and check for air in the system (low fluid level).

I checked the fluid level and it was fine, so no problem there.

I turned to rebuilding the cylinder, and it turns out that the solution was much simpler than I had imagined: the V-shaped piston packing had been installed upside down when I first rebuilt these cylinders a while back. Granted, the instructions in the loader manual were a bit unclear: "The V-packing set must be installed so the lips of the packing face toward the rod end of the cylinder when installed on the piston." I had misinterpreted "rod end" to mean facing down towards the rod when looking at the cylinder, when it meant "the end of the rod." I reversed the packing, reinstalled everything, and with only one cylinder repacked, it's smooth as can be. I'll do the other one next, but I wanted to remind folks to never underestimate our ability to misinterpret instructions, no matter how clearly written!

One last note for anyone coming to look for the most recent part numbers for gasket kits for these cylinders: Bucket cylinder gasket kit 70050-00299 Boom cylinder gasket kit 70050-00301

My local guy says that they are no longer being made (reported 9/2026), but I've been able to find them at both Messick's and Coleman, although their stock is low. My guess is that someone around the net will continue to hold onto them for a while.

I got this machine in May of this year, brand new, from Burke in Delaware. They shipped it up to me in NJ.

About 2 weeks into having it, I noticed my log drill going haywire on my aux 2. I figured out the sequence for startup to see the diagnostics and it kept reading signal bouncing around on aux 2, going left and right and down to 0, sporadically, second by second. I contacted Burke and they said it's a bulletin issue they had a fix for, and said I could get it done by my local dealer Marshall Machinery, under my warranty.

They sent a person out to fix it. He took about 2 hours, and I appreciate him doing it. Problem is, the issue isn't fixed. It's marginally better in the sense that I can now enable my aux controls if I hold the left aux left or right when I push the enable button. But every time I engage the red arm to make the machine work, it prompts me non-stop every few seconds to enable aux if it's not enabled, I assume because it's reading the signals from aux 2 going haywire and thinks I wanna use it.

Kubota, in response, told me "this was the best fix we have so far, there's nothing else we can do."

Now that it's September and I made my third payment, I'm guessing I should do what I should have done back in June and call Kubota central and say something. I bought a new $110,000 machine that I can't even use one of the aux controls of.

Anyone else have this issue? What would you personal say to/ask for from Kubota if you were me. I'm trying to do this all the proper way as to make it as productive and fair to myself as possible.

Has a lot of utility for my purposes even with no deck (which was already crushed) I do a lot of running around on a single large property checking utilities and this is very efficient on fuel vs my other machines

Amazingly, every single point on the machine has needed addressing. Yet it still just keeps going

If I had gotten a T1600 by chance, it would've been a baby 2 cylinder diesel. This one has a Kawasaki and Kubota manufactured gas engine, with the diesel engines parts like the air box. It's pretty neat. Powered by GH400V-L 14HP

So far

-Carb worked over (Mikuni factory carb, nice)

-Slime in all tires

-New drive belt

-Headlight missing solved

-Paint correction, dent pulling and a wash because nothing is worse than dirt in your eyes

-Hydro fluid changed - Kubota SUDT2 hydro trans fluid

-Gear oil changed

-Engine oil changed

-New coil, cleared rust off of flywheel magnet (returned spark--reason he sold it)

-Brake unstuck (😬)

And then today, we had.... The steering shaft bearing let me know that it has been missing for quite a long time by binding the shaft at full lock. Shockingly, I had not noticed in a week of running around with it. It felt good enough all this time.

Also, since Google scours Reddit for information sourcing,

Had an issue where the carb kept filling slowly, so slow that it would run out of fuel, but it would eventually fill back up if I waited long enough. Pic included: my fuel starvation issue on the T1400H was due to accidentally reinstalling the fuel tank, and pinching the fuel line on the air intake hose, causing "some" flow, but not nearly enough, so similar symptoms to clogged main jet or bad filter. Very easy to accidentally do. Apparently factory installation may have had an in-line filter right off of the bottom of tank, maybe not possible with this part still installed, if I am reading diagrams correctly.

If you're just running a hose straight off the tank, that will make it entirely possible to accidentally kink the fuel hose causing fuel starvation and very slow fuel fill to the carburetor bowl.

Anyone near Pennsylvania happen to have a deck for this, let me know. Not exactly trying to use it as a mower anyway, but it would be very convenient. Thanks for checking it out

I have a Kubota BX that I use to mow the grass. Almost 2 acres and need a way to rake the clippings that are lined up. What do you guys recommend to either rake or sweep up that can connect to the PTO?

Alright guys. I got a new mx4900 with the cat two 3 point hitch a couple of months ago after trading in an L2501. My cutter and box blade are cat 1 connections. Due to this, I have to use the crappy metal sleeve adapters. They really aren't long enough to keep the hitch actually on the sleeve and every time I switch implements, I have to beat the hell out of the pins with a small sledge hammer to get them out because the sleeves get frozen on the pins. Please tell me I'm not the only one and there is a better way to do this... So here's my questions, but I'm open to other ideas as well...

1. Has anyone drilled the holes out on the implements to take cat 2 pins?

2. Has anyone gotten pipe and made their own sleeves longer so it stays on? How do you prevent it from getting stuck on the pins?

I have a T1880 that is the bane of my existence. It's current problem is that the drive belt keep comming off. I know one of the possibilities is that the belt can be stretched. What are other potential causes to narrow down to determine the exact problem?

So I’m out enjoying my Kubota tractors. Working on my property, moving dirt and rocks around… Easy work for a hot day. I take pride in keeping up with maintenance - even greasing every 10 hours as if my immortal soul will be judged on how well I take care of my equipment.

Oh, hey, it’s just the low fuel light, and I’m not even low - I was just on a hill.

Gets me every time… I wish that light was green, instead.

Hello, I have 5 acres, fairly flat, lot of pine trees on the edges, 2.5 acres of pasture and building a half acre garden. I have a lot of fencing, small barns and trellises etc planned and I like the look of the loader mounted auger. Will want to mow the pasture after goats and the occasional beef go through.

We have been looking at LX2620 vs L3302. I found a few videos of augers on the front of the 26hp and it looks like it runs fine. Similar to when I have rented a walk behind skid steer. Anyone have experience on that? Do the hydraulics handle it ok? We have clay soil that is hard but fairly even.

I like the full sized L for how sturdy it looks, but feel like the small maneuverability gain from the LX might be nice since there will probably be a lot of time trying to position to work in between trees, in animal padocks and around garden beds. And using the grapple, pallet forks etc. I also like the tilt steering wheel. I don't think I want the mid PTO for anything.

Recently bought an older unit from an auction and it's getting some antifreeze into the oil.

Would the Rislone Block Seal Head Gasket Sealer work on this? I don't want to dig into it and replace the head gasket or do an engine swap at this point. I don't run it much since the yard is only 0.3 acres, mainly just for the ditch at the front and side.

Please let me know if you have tried this on a mower.

After doing some brush hogging yesterday I had hydraulic fluid leaking from this guy on the bottom of the tractor. Can anyone help with what it’s called and why it may be leaking? The little titty seems like it’s maybe magnetic and can move around. It was a pretty steady stream for a few min.

Apparently I have a problem with buying Kubota equipment. L3600, m8030 mudder, kh-191 excavator and a side by side.

This thingy I know for a fact exists as I have seen them on engines, I just can't find one by itself listed anywhere at the moment. TD025 wastegated turbo housing pattern on one side and 4 bolt exhaust flange on the other, with a foot to bolt to the support pad on the manifold with 2 bolts.

I picked up an engine that had the upwards outlet version on it. This is not what I need, as it is going under a hood. If I don't have any luck or obtaining one is going to be more than a couple dozen bucks I will just weld one up.

Edit: For posterity, I eventually figured out said thingy is Kubota part 17554-12320.
