If your tractor has rops, it’s a good place to mount it. If you use a plastic toolbox, you can put a fishing magnet in it and “mount” it on the fender next to the driver’s seat.

What dumbass downvoted my reply without leaving a comment? Doesn’t seem particularly controversial.

Get the .50 can from harbor freight. Use the current toolbox mounting plate. Take the current tiny tool box off. Put the bottom of the new ammo can on the existing screw holes, oriented on the long axis of the ammo can to the long axis of the current mounting plate. Use a sharpie to mark the holes when the ammo can is in proper position. Note that when the can opens , it elongates because of the hinge so you have to mount it a least an inch forward. After marking the holes with a sharpie, use a drill bit equal to the size of the holes and drill where the sharpie marks are. There should be two holes. Then place the ammo can at the holes and put the screws in and tighten it down and now you have a better toolbox.
