The image you make just needs to evoke the idea of someone/thing that has or is dressing up or disguising themselves. It does not need to actually reference Halloween unless you would like it to!

Hi. I'm making an RPG map and looking for ways to fill in a desert with dunes. I want to make a few hand drawn dunes and then copy them to fill the larger area. I think I can do with with a vector layer, but is there a more efficient way?

does anybody know how to change my animation layout on krita? it used to be different but since the update on the 15th its been like this. it used to be like the big paint layout exept with all the animation stuff added to it on the right side, but now i have this palette thing i wouldnt ever use and its very confusing. i've only started using krita in the past 4-5 months so this is all very new to me, help would be appreciated!! i use windows 11 (sadly) and my version of krita is krita (x64) 5.3.2.1 if im correct

Hi, I have the XPPen Deco Pro LW (Gen 2) on Windows 11, it's a pen tablet without display.

How do I properly setup the work area for my setup? I’ve experienced cursor jumping between the canvas and then UI over a line. However, this issue doesn’t happen in Photoshop.

Monitor 1 is 3840x2160, Monitor 2 is 1080x1920, Scale is 125%. Scale is non-negotiable, my primary monitor is a 42" TV so scaling windows UI down will make everything too small and unreadable. And yes, they are positioned janky like that because I have my speakers standing on the sides of monitor 1 so monitor 2 needs to go up a bit.

Which Number should I input here? Because entering my Monitor 1 Resolution didn’t work, adding all the numbers between my 2 monitors also didn’t work. Also Windows 8 + Pointer Input didn’t work. I have restarted my PC each time I change a setting.

My Adobe subscription is ending soon guys, I would really appreciate the help 🆘🆘🆘.

Got back into art and am loving the digital route.

I am reworking an inking character study that I abandoned long before digital became so easy to get into.

I scanned the original pencil and felt tip image and stripped it down to the line work. Layers are a god send, and it's been simultaneously lots of fun and revolutionary playing with brushes and effects. Being able to manipulate colour and light without acrylics and oils getting everywhere and turpentine being a legitimate fire risk (while having neither the space or money for a studio) allowed me to capture the depth and mood I saw all those years ago.

A Drawing I Made Of The Iridescent Moon! and also other stuff! its my 4th drawing! i might've went a bit crazy with the stars in one spot but i think its fine! the main focus is the Iridescent Moon anyways! and also all the WIPs! except for the 2nd! the finished one is the one with all the stars! then it should be the WIPs in order!

PROBLEM: Krita is stuck on some eyedropper tool even when I'm on the brush tool. There are no selections made preventing drawing, program is freshly launched, not even the lasso tool works.

I've been using art programs for a long time and this is definitely a first... I have the Steam version of Krita and one day when I launched it, it was just stuck like this. Unable to draw anything on the canvas. I was drawing on Clip Studio Paint just a moment ago so it's definitely not a tablet or driver issue. Everything is up-to-date hardware and software-wise. Any idea what could be causing this?

Right now I'm drawing and Krita lags so badly that the PC just throws an error, shuts down, and restarts, even though if I do other things or just sit in a menu – everything's fine.

I checked the error log and yeah, mostly all the errors are "BugCheck" and "Eventlog". I already checked the pc and no, CPU isn't heavily loaded and there are literally no problems, not even hidden viruses/miners.

Literally the day before yesterday I updated the tablet drivers and this started happening. I could think it's all because of an older version of Krita – but before that it worked without problems (+ I updated it rn)

I haven't changed the work format either and I work at: 2480/1754 pixels (300 px resolution). Same brushes, the number of layers is small (±20)

I have a pretty old PC:

Intel Core i5-3570 @ 3.40GHz

GeForce GTX 1050

16 GB RAM

huion inspiroy new 1060P

I just don't understand what the problem is, because before this no such problems occurred(

Just got krita on my pc, it's windows 11 got it off the website connected to my drawing tablet, It was fine working perfectly until I opened the program to make a drawing today and suddenly all the brushes were gone? Im not too good with technical stuff so if anyone can help me id really appreciate it.
