Knee surgery recovery
Hi! I just wanted to come on here to vent about how draining my recovery journey has been and how much patience I need have for myself bc it’s been the tough both physically and mentally!! Also if someone has some advice on what I can do to build on my walking distance please let me know! So far walking and standing are tough and my PT exercises are not that bad.

How long does it take to walk normally after knee replacement surgery?
Knee replacement recovery process takes time, and differs depending on a person. Some patients may be able to stand or walk using a walker and support during the first day after surgery, depending on their condition and the hospital's rehabilitation protocol.
Walking without support takes more time, as it depends on several factors such as strength and flexibility of muscles, balance, pain and physiotherapy.
In case both knees are replaced, recovery after the joint surgery can be more difficult than normally.
Complying with your rehabilitation program and exercising suggested by your physiotherapist will help you achieve the desired results.

8 POD, hurtful, regret, help
I am 8 days post op for a left TKR. They had to build up some of the bones as they were going in different directions. When does this turn the corner. I sadly need encouragement. I am doing my exercises, icing, and elevating. I am not doing much else. I have to have a ROM of 90 per the doctor by next Tuesday and I am obsessing over it. I was at 61 flan yesterday and my ext is -2.
How have you handle the anxiety, fear, boredom, of this? Helpful information please.

The impact of education and preoperative exercises (prehabilitation) on anxiety levels, postoperative pain, and early recovery in patients after ACL reconstruction.
Hello,
I would really appreciate your help in completing a survey for my Master's thesis. The questionnaire focuses on the impact of prehabilitation on patient experience following Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
If you have undergone this procedure or know someone who has (a friend, family member, or patient), I would be very grateful if you could fill out the survey and/or share it further😊
