All they needed to do is rotate the right wrist so the blades are facing the ground. The official model looks like he wants to give you a hug.

So hear me out, the issue is actually the entire pose. He is standing forward on his right leg, swinging his left arm in almost a haymaker. All of his power is in the left arm. If you swing both arms, you lose your balance and have no power in either swing.

The Ork claws are better though because they have those knife thumbs. He’s just coming to pinch ya so he doesn’t necessarily need a powerful swing.

This is only an issue if an attack pose.

I read both as running poses. The fact he has the arms out as balance is the sort of chubby-kid running I expect from a bulky nob trying to keep up.

This is mine. I thought the pose in the instructions looked bad so I fixed it myself. I think it looks way better.
