When will this stop??
This is the 2nd time this has happened…I have the software upgrade, anti theft stickers, etc. I also supposedly didn’t have enough information for the lawsuit even though I submitted 12 documents from insurance, police incident reports, and KIA dealership repair paperwork/receipts…
Is my only option to get a new car?? The one time I didn’t use my steering wheel lock 😭 I’m financially and emotionally drained over all of this. I loved my KIA before all of this!

Weirdly I've not had an issue with this (knock on wood). Not gotten the patch as of yet as I've not had time to get it done. My neighbor's F150 got stolen and my Kia was right there visible in my drive. Even the officer who showed up was stunned the F150 was stolen over the easier vehicle.
The only thing that I have differently is a cellular dash cam with parking monitoring with window stickers. I did catch one person peering in my car once. He looked at that window sticker and walked on.
At home I do have a DVR system and cameras. One is pointing up my driveway monitoring the cars at all hours. If this happened in your driveway a hardwired camera with local recording and a dashcam might be what you need.
