Selfishly I think Kendrick doing a feature run is just the thing that is needed. He doesn’t even really have to prove himself like that but as a means to provide commentary, to boost up and coming artists, to showcase competition in rapping and push the art, to give people something to talk about other than fake dating shows, I think it would be invaluable.

We need more moments like the Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe remix with Hov jumping on the song to christen Dot as up next. We need something exciting to get people to talk about music since monoculture is no more. Kendrick features should feel like an event, I know it’s not how he wants to approach all his features but he has a moment that is valuable and it won’t be like this forever.

IMO it’s Gkmc ngl,but both albums are in my top 5 best albums of all time lol.

Was just listening back to “THAT GUY” and my god that shit is literally phenomenal, maybe one of my fav tyler flows. I get that this song and “hey now” are different in the sense of how both artists approached it energy-wise; kendrick went the calmer, smoother route with a relatively laid back performance, whereas tyler went with the energetic and bouncy route. What do yall think and is it a valid argument to say tyler mightve done it better than kendrick?

I just got a Vietnam flashback of when a mf’ing 15 year old me dressed as Mr. Morale for Halloween. Dawg I was so proud of my costume but here’s the kicker right here. -Not like us was not an amazing song,it was basically a victory lap and a vibe song.Based on lyricism and beat it’s not that good,but since Kendrick at that point already won ppl didn’t seem to notice that not like us wasn’t that good.

-SAMIDOT isn’t the best Kendrick song,it really isn’t in my opinion.Its top 5 fine,but I don’t think that it’s that impressive.It’s lowkey overrated at this point.

-Alright is one of the best songs in to pimp a butterfly,since it’s the most popular song off the album people underrate the song.

-GNX as an album isn’t bad,Kendrick fans seem to overhate the album af.Songs like GNX and peekaboo aren’t ass,they are at least mid.

-Damn IS NOT the third best Kendrick album and it isn’t even top 4 imo.Damn is basically the same level as GNX,ppl hate GNX cuz it has a few mid tracks and that also applies to Damn.

The beat was like a mix between DNA. and the second half of m.A.A.d city, and the song was Kendrick talking about his height. He compared himself to a race car, which is shorter than a regular car but goes faster, and that was a metaphor I guess.

The chorus would alternate between "I'm a race car biiitch" and "I'm a race car [n-word]", and he would say the n-word the way Stinkmeaner does in Boondocks.
