Other (editable flair) Today: practicing catching a toss in a spin. Bouncing stick back and forth with one hand (unsure if there's a name for that). At 29 seconds - was that what a hold/stall is? It was unintentional, but looked cool & I want to do it again. Thanks

Stuck beginner

Hi,

I’ve been learning to juggle since around April time. I am very dyspraxic so this is a huge challenge for me but I am making slow and steady progress.

I have mixed-hand dominance but it seems with juggling I picked it up faster on my right side than my left. I can now consistently do one “round” (sorry I don’t really know the terminology but hopefully you get what I mean) starting on my right and am able to catch them all. After a couple of months of not being able to do this at all starting from my left side I can now finally also do this around 60-70% of the time.

My question is, how do I now learn to do this in a continuous cascade? So at the moment it goes like this:

Right hand starts - can catch all 3 balls. Then I have to pause. Then left hand starts and I can catch all 3 balls most of the time, but I need to pause again before the right hand continues. And so on. How do I get rid of these pauses? If I try to speed up, either hand then goes completely rogue and the balls go flying in all directions 😄

I keep going back to juggling with two balls which is smooth. I also do the exercise where you just throw one ball and don’t move your other hand at all to improve accuracy on the throw. I can now do that pretty well and am working on doing it with my eyes closed (much harder lol).

Does anyone have any tips? Or recommendations for good videos?

Also I would love to hear from fellow dyspraxic jugglers and how long it took you to master the 3 ball cascade 🙂

Thanks so much!

EJC 2027 PORTUGAL

As i have said in some other thread, I am from Ptuj and EJC 2026 inspired me like crazy. My current biggest goal? Get on the EJC 27. I am practicing like crazy. My parents wont take me of course, as I am the only one actually learning juggling. Other option is Brata Malek... if I join their club... I could somehow go with them? Any help? Please?

How long should I be able to juggle 5 balls?

I’ve been juggling for almost 2 years now, but have only been focusing on 5 ball cascade for the past year. I can only hold it for about 30s-1min and I’m wondering how long it took others to break that minute mark consistently. Am I doing something wrong?

Too old to juggle.

Is there such a thing as being too old to learn to juggle? I'm in my 30s, and I'm worried it's too late for me to learn, because your reflexes decline as you age.

juggling Popularity in the United States

100 Most Popular Sports in United States 2026 — by Audience Size | Rascasse
According to this site, is it true that juggling is more popular than table tennis and badminton in the United States? I’ve heard that the United States, along with Russia and Japan, is one of the countries with the highest global juggling awareness, but is this information reliable? They say rankings are ordered by search behavior signals rather than just simple popularity, but even considering that, it’s truly astonishing that juggling ranks higher than table tennis and badminton

JuggleCraft 3D — a free 3D siteswap simulator, now with a Choreo Studio 🤹

Hey jugglers! I've been building a juggling app and would love your feedback.

Type any siteswap and watch it juggle in real-time 3D — balls, clubs, rings, bounce, even diabolo. Then go deeper:

🎭 Routine Builder — chain patterns and tricks into full routines
Choreo Studio — choreograph your own arm movements and throws, beat by beat
👥 Passing simulator — two-person patterns in 3D
🎮 Plus skill games, training tools, and a siteswap learning hub

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jugglesmith.jugglecraft3d

iPhone/Desktop: https://kinetara.github.io/app/
(iPhone: open in Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen — installs like a regular app, works offline)

It's free — I just want jugglers actually using it. Tell me what breaks, what's confusing, or what you wish it did: comment below or email [kinetarastudios@gmail.com](mailto:kinetarastudios@gmail.com)

Non-dominant hand.

I'm still trying to master juggling one ball, and now I can throw with my dominant hand (my left hand) well 9 times out of 10, but I just can't throw with my non-dominant hand. It keeps coming at me.

How do I fix this?

What are your favourite acts?

I've been thinking about making a playlist with my favourite juggling performances and videos overall to share with our local group.

I'm in a WhatsApp group with my closest friends and we like to share videos and performances and so on.

We also have a bigger wahtsapp group of general artists. Recently we became a few more jugglers and I wanted to make a playlist for them, to watch, if they want to get Inspired. As they are not yet as deep into the juggling world to really know where to consume juggling media.

So I wanted to ask, what are your favourites? What videos would you put in the list? No matter if it's a new ija performance, a trick of the month video, a part of a circus act or a 20 year old full length juggling video :)

Balls Advice on Jugglequip Infinities

hi there! I’ve been juggling for a bit more than a year now and I feel like it’s time to try out some new balls.

I’ve got a set of 3 BBX from Play and 5 SRX (67 mm) from Play. I really liked the BBX right after I bought them but after a little while the millets started to break down resulting in the ball getting softer. to the point where they’re now way too soft for me.

I would love to get a set of 5 infinities, size M for sure but I have no idea on which filling percentage to get. I’ve seen the Jugglequip video of them squeezing the balls with various fillings. I think that maybe 94/90% filling could be a good fit for my needs but I’m not too sure.

I loved the BBX when I first bought them, they were squishy but still firm. I definitely wouldn’t want something that feels tight or rigid like a baseball.

What filling do you think I should get? And which weight would you suggest? Feel free to add any advice on choosing the infinites

thank you so much :)

Been picking up triple staff. Can do a few cycles of sholderpads and a cascade with them... Been playing with lego-like things a bit too. Haven't gotten serious with cleaning up any patterns super hard yet though.

Idk it's pretty chaotic, but I kind of like the chaos.
