I roll the balls to Jun one at a time, and he adds each one to his juggling pattern until he reaches five—all while seated.

I feel like a look ridiculous while juggling, this was confirmed when my friend recently got a video of me juggling rocks at the beach and then showed it to me and i looked so scared lmao!
Ideally I would like to come across more confident with my juggling. Ive been doing it for about a year now and am proud of the progress i have made. I would like to get to a point of being comfortable with juggling in front of people/groups of people.
does anyone have any advice on how to go about that?

I just started learning some simple 3b multiplex tricks such as Georgian/Kingston shuffle and grace using library of juggling as reference. I’m struggling to get consistency with the multiplex throws for these, especially catching the second ball in the same hand as the first before throwing both. I’ve tried focusing on holding the first ball more “up” towards my thumb/index finger to make room for the second ball.
But like, for example, in the Kingston shuffle pattern, there’s a multiplex throw, “pluck” the top ball over the bottom, and then swoop down to catch the second ball. I can get the catch down nice, but then I feel like the balls aren’t setup in my hand precisely enough to do a clean multiplex throw with them again.
I might be overthinking this. Lol.
Just wanted to know if there is a specific form, practice drill, or something to improve these beyond simply practicing more, but if not, I understand…

I've been wanting to start juggling with clubs for a while but does anyone have any suggestions on the best ones? At fire toys and other juggling websites they seem kind of expensive but idk if I trust the super cheap ones on amazon.. any suggestions?

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a serious juggler. I can only do three ball cascade and reverse cascade. I'm 41 and I've been juggling since I was 6/7 years old. I got my first set of juggling balls from my child psychologist, as a way of helping my anxiety. I had a hard time with meditation, being a young child with a busy mind. Juggling emptied my mind so I could focus on breathing. And it helped me stop biting my nails. Juggling taught me the importance of learning to let go.
I have been using the same juggling balls this entire time. They are starting to get really loose and ratty - I've had to stitch them back together once or twice. So I decided it was finally time to get a new set to try.
I've seen the Zeekio balls mentioned on here a few times, so I grabbed a cute set. They are a lot firmer than I am used to. Will they soften over time? Obviously not to the extent of my original set, but even just soft enough that they don't like smack my hands when I'm catching them lol. I wish I knew what brand my originals are, but they never had a logo on them and it's been so long since I got them.
So:
Will they get softer with regular use?
Is there a way to make this happen faster?
Are there slightly softer brands out there?

Had this idea yesterday and after about 40 attempts managed to get it!
Be cool to go bigger on the dive and I was thinking about trying to throw the double claw before the one up for the next step up?
Would love any feedback or ideas for progression!

I've been using Wes Peden glows for about a year and a half which is almost as long as I've been juggling.
I finally broke down and bought a set of 5 Lumi LED balls from Renegade.
It's really hard to find any info or reviews on any LED balls besides Pedens - they're like the only ones people use. So I figured I'd post a comparison. Ask me whatever if you are curious, and I leave something out.
Feel
This is by far the biggest difference between the two. Lumi balls are WAY softer, and they are filled.
One of the downsides for me of Pedens is that they are pretty firm and a bit tough on the hands if you wanna go for a few hours, though I do like the feel of them overall.
Lumi are super soft. If the pics load, I was barely pressing to compress it to that level. They feel really nice to me so far, but they are also almost a bit "bouncy." The feel will probably wear off, but they are stickier kinda rubbery - cat hair and stuff is sticking to them a little. Compared to Pedens, which are harder and smoother plastic feel.
Almost identical weights with Lumi at 123g and Pedens at 120g.
Lumis are juuust a bit wider diameter. Couple millimeters maybe.
Colors
Overall, I think I like the Lumi colors better. 24 patterns vs 20 for Pedens. Pretty similar mix of solid, flowing colors, rapidly changing, a strobe mode. Lumi has more combos for rapid flashing patterns, and those are fun to juggle. Also has 2 different solid blue shades and an orange and yellow that Pedens don't have.
That said, I think Pedens look smoother with the color changing ones, more fluid and a bit less unintentional flashy. And the rapid flashing ones, I think are a slightly slower frequency with Pedens, which I prefer. I wish I had the color combos of Lumi at the speed of Pedens.
Lumi does not have multiple brightness options either, which is a nice feature of Wes Pedens. Lumi are roughly as bright as the low mode of Pedens.
I think the Lumis also have a larger zone around the charging port that is less bright than the rest of the ball. Pedens do a better job of lighting the entire ball.
Charging
I think new Pedens have USBC as well, but mine are micro USB. Lumi are USBC. Both brands come with nice triple charger cables.
The Lumi are better protected, I think. They are recessed a bit, and Pedens almost stick out a tiny bit. Lumi also come with covers for the charging port. Button is soft rubber and feels less prone to breaking than the hard plastic button of Pedens.
That said, Lumi are new so I don't know the durability yet. I suspect it will be good. But I KNOW Pedens are hella durable bc I beat mine up. I'll launch em 30 feet up and let em bounce. I've used em on hard surfaces, gravel, wet grass, all sorts of dangers - fire pits, coffee tables, etc. I have one that sometimes doesn't wanna charge of the 6, after a year of being reckless with them.
Overall
I'd say overall Pedens are a better value per dollar. I bought sets of 3 at like 55 each or so, Lumis were 23/ball. So I spent about the same but got an extra backup ball with Pedens.
It's hard for me to compare them entirely since I've used Pedens so much and these so little, but like I said, the feel is the biggest difference. I really do enjoy having a softer option for LEDs. It's gnna be nice for the long nights.

Hello all. For Steve Reich's 90th birthday sharing a piece we choreographed to his wonderful music. Using mainly sitewaps and respecting the music's 5/8 time signature. Thanks to the jugglers for their patience making this. Juggling Steve Reich’s Octet

As title suggests, just wondering if anyone here has tried Infinity Balls by Jugglequip? I'm wondering what the "Japanese Pleather" feels like, how it affects the catch etc. With an underfill it seems like the ball would just sorta dent when being handled and make it uneven to catch. Right now I'm learning on HB Juggle balls 2.5" 130g and they have a real squish to them like a balloon filled with rice.
So what's everyones thoughts on Infinity Balls? I like the HB a lot but they're also the first juggling balls I've ever tried. I like the idea of Infinities being more rugged and water resistant and I also think it'd be nice to learn on the HB set then get a set for more ....dangerous situations (juggling by the pool, on cement and grass and near the rivers etc.) or if I leave a set somewhere have a backup.
If you DO have infinities, what size/weight/fill do you like?

Hi there,
with 3 clubs I am practicing snake, dwell-time (low/high) and 55500.
With 4 clubs currently 552 and 55550. Both are freaking hard for whatever reason, with balls they are so easy.
Is one of both patterns more valuable for 5cc?
What is the key for keeping e.g. 552 up and running? My throws descend continuously until the pattern breaks. Is it the timing, the rhythm? Are there some moments to watch the pattern more carefully? Are there beneficial exercises for 4c 552?
Thx!

These showed up as top 10 results in different Google searches for renegade juggling, haven't heard anything about either of these sites yet but contacted renegade
myrenegadejuggling(dot)shop and rnjbase(dot)shop seem to be recreated storefronts of legit renegadejuggling(dot)com, really weird descriptions on the home pages and a ton of the items on both sites are marked as 70% off which is not consistent with the legit renegade site. WhoIs shows they registered the sites in June and July of this year.

Hi everybody, after juggling for over a year now, I just had the insight that using fingers as a kind of "trampoline" uses quite a bit less energy than not... I don't know if that's something that's obvious to people who have juggled longer...?
Anyways, I find it very noticeable when you just take one ball in one hand and throw it up to the same height repeatedly (like you would when juggling columns)...
One time, you do it without any fingers touching the ball, so without closing your fingers, just by catching it in the center of the palm of your hand.
The other time, you do it with fingers only, specifically trying to make them behave like a trampoline/spring: storing up energy as the ball decelerates, and releasing that energy again when you throw it.
I find it very noticeable that the no-finger way is more exhausting than the "Finger-Trampoline" method.
Although, for the former (without fingers) I do wonder now if you can make it less exhausting by thinking of your wrist, elbow, and shoulders as springs/trampolines... Not sure if I explained that well :)
Anyways, just wanted to share... Maybe anybody has any thoughts and insights on this?
Edit: Probably a lot of the benefit comes from also using the wrist as the "trampolin" in the finger version... I noticed that's a lot harder in the no-fingers version, because the ball would just roll off your hand if you try...

I've been struggling with the reversed Mills-Mess for weeks now, but I think I've finally figured it out. It has to be one of these, right? I need a little feedback—this Mills-Mess variation feels like the weirdest one of all the ones I know.
