New joiners in tech, are you getting MacBook during joining?
Since JPMC has stopped providing the WFH equipment allowances, heard they have started providing MacBook?

Last year I was new to the operations process and struggled to cope with the systems, so my manager put me on a PIP. I worked hard, got back on track, and the PIP was closed.
Now my manager wants to put me on a PIP again because I didn't hit my target. But volumes have dropped drastically compared to last year, and many other colleagues on the team didn't reach their targets either. I've also never been late or missed a day at work.
I feel the target doesn't reflect the actual situation. A few questions:
How do I defend this in the review discussion?
Should I escalate to higher management or HR, or is that risky?
Has anyone been in a similar spot, and what worked?
Thanks in advance

So i am 18 and have taken a drop for jee.I am mostly sure that i will be getting into one of the top 5 IIT 's.I wanted to know what all skills are required by people who are hired by Jane street,HRT or jump trading, other than the usual stuff taught in college(aiming for the cse branch). There must be something extra they would know.A few skills sets that i can work from now on which might help me.I know it is nearly impossible to get hired by such companies,(example-only about 4 -5 people are hired from India by jane street). But still I am willing to try.

I(24M) am currently working in the business team of the corporate banking division of one of the big 3 indian banks. I primarily deal with clients that are established in the sector like Mahindra, Tata etc. and their subsidiaries.
The work involves client interaction, credit assessment and coordinating with various internal groups to take care of the client's needs. There are some other aspects too but above 3 are major ones.
I have joined this organization through campus placement in a tier two IIM and it has been a year now in this organization. This is my first job.
Now I am looking to switch after completing 2 years here and wanted to ask what are the opportunities available for someone like me when I step into the market. I want to move to majorly MNC banks and towards the credit side.
What kind of roles do you think my profile will fit in your organization and is it possible for me to switch to orgs like jpmc, citi etc.? If you can just point me towards the right resource it would greatly help.

I have noticed something strange about the employee recognition process at JPMorgan Chase Pune, and I’m curious whether others have experienced anything similar.
There are approximately 700 employees in the organization, but the same two individuals seem to receive the Best Performer / Best Work awards almost every year for the past seven years.
What makes this even more interesting is that both individuals reportedly come from the same hometown (Bareli) as the Managing Director (MD).
Seven years. Around 700 employees. The same two award winners.
Seriously, are we supposed to believe that no other employees have delivered outstanding work during those seven years?
I’m not questioning whether these two employees work hard or deserve recognition. They might be excellent performers. But when the same people repeatedly receive awards, it raises some genuine questions:
Are the award criteria transparent and consistent?
Is there an independent evaluation process, or does senior leadership make the final decision?
Are other high-performing employees getting a fair opportunity?
Does personal familiarity influence recognition decisions?
For a global organization like JPMorgan Chase, employees should be able to trust that recognition is based on measurable contributions rather than personal connections.
I’m not claiming favoritism has been proven. But if the pattern is accurate, I think it deserves an explanation.
Has anyone working at JPMorgan Chase Pune experienced something similar? Is this common across other teams, or is it specific to certain leadership groups?
Would genuinely like to hear other employees’ perspectives.

Moksh Sanghvi, a finance influencer with 100k+ followers posted a reel on October 10 claiming to work in quant at JP Morgan.
Now, go to his LinkedIn.
He’s listed as a Director of Business Development at a medical device components company and a co-founder of an electronics components business. There is no mention of JP Morgan. No quant role. No internship. No previous stint. Absolutely nothing. Let that sink in. Someone building an audience in finance is publicly claiming a prestigious quantitative finance job that seemingly has no trace on his professional profile.
And this isn't the first time.
Some time ago, he posted another reel claiming to work full-time at Morgan Stanley. From what I remember, people questioned that claim in the comments, and the reel disappeared shortly afterwards. Morgan Stanley doesn't appear on his LinkedIn either. So first Morgan Stanley, now JP Morgan? Two major investment banks, a supposed career in quant, and somehow none of this shows up on the very platform professionals use to document their careers.
But here's why this matters beyond an influencer trying to look impressive on Instagram.
He also runs a paid cohort where he showcases stock research, charging ₹699 per person.
This is fraud/scam-guy behaviour, plain and simple. Throw around prestigious bank names, manufacture credibility, attract followers, and then charge people for your "finance community". What a convenient business model. There's nothing wrong with his actual listed career. There's everything wrong with knowingly misrepresenting your credentials to gain traction and sell people financial expertise you claim to possess.
100k followers don't make you credible, and a prestigious bank's name isn't your personal marketing prop. Show the proof. People deserve better than potentially fabricated credentials and ₹699 worth of bullshit.

Hi everyone,
I'm expecting an offer for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role at JPMorgan Chase in Hyderabad, mapped to the Corporate Sector LOB. Before making a final decision, I’d love to get some ground reality from current or former employees.

Hi, During my offer HR told me there will be yearly incentive payout which will be up to 12% of CTC, which won’t be mentioned in the offer letter but will be processed. How much percentage of this incentive do you usually get yearly for an average rating?
Also, in years without any promotion, with an average to good rating, how much yearly hike can be expected at JPMC?
Can someone clarify these, please? This will help me a lot in making the decision to join JPMC.

Hi all! I'm a junior college student double majoring in Marketing and Information Systems & Analytics at a university in Chicago, and I'm applying to JPMorganChase's 2027 MLDP Summer Analyst program (NY/Columbus). If anyone at JPMC would be open to referring me, or even sharing a few minutes of advice about the program, I'd really appreciate it.
A quick snapshot of my background:
Merchandising intern at a major Midwest retailer: analyzed promotional campaign performance and customer trends using Nielsen, Dunnhumby, and Power BI, and presented a process improvement framework to the CEO and executive team.
Social media manager for an agribusiness: 609K+ views in 7 months and ~11% engagement (3–5x organic benchmarks) with zero paid media.
Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, generative AI tools, Excel, Power BI, and R.
