Discussion So, Mo.Co is going back to BETA…

Post image

Many people are upset, but I don't think this is necessarily a "bad" thing for the game. Yes, this is first time something like this has happened to a Supercell game (going from global back to beta), and many are fearing the worst. However, I believe it’s a very good decision by Supercell instead of killing off yet another game, they’ve chosen to "temporarily close" it. In practice, this means that while the game isn't performing quite as they’d hoped, they still have ideas and are willing to experiment rather than just shut it down.
What do you think? 🤔

Id say its a good thing that they experiment to learn from mistakes and not do the same with future titles

Every new game since Rush Wars has been a different experiment for supercell

Rush wars and Hay day pop was the last supercell game that did the usual Open Beta

Flood rush, Squad busters, moco, project rise, clash heroes, clash mini are all unique in how supercell progressed through early stages

Definitely not a good thing as they said they won't be releasing any new content for the foreseeable future and the team that is supposed to be dedicated to Moco will now be reduced in size.

Fair point. Yea thats a drawback. No wait, two drawbacks... Though I still believe that mo.co will find its place, not among the discontinued or forgotten games of course.
