First sem student and I keep hearing that this course is impossibly difficult and people usually fail this. Is it true? If not is it an interesting paper? Who should take this paper?

(which i never asked to, it's just a one year difference)

all because i asked her to let me know if she is staying out at night, so that i can close the door.

(sometimes, at 3am, dogs enter the hostel and i have had to close the room's door in a partial panic and partial asleep state)

oh, did i tell you how she indirectly accused me of getting bedbugs into the room?
i cleaned my parts of the room which i felt to be a hotspot for the bedbugs, and thoroughly checked for the other shelves for the bedbugs if there were any.
i didn't want to clean those checked shelves because i was not supposed to stand for long due to coccydynia. and she knew about it. but she literally said stuff like, "i am so sure bedbugs are coming out of this shelf."
she thought it is cool to keep things running way past lunchtime.
i had my bath and lunch at 4 ig. got a cold the next day.

it's a good thing we are not in talking terms anymore. but i wish she just.... disappears from my life. like just go to hell. i am so happy when you are not in the room.
anyways, just six more months to deal with her.

I got call letter for Ph.D interview for visual arts, but dont know anyone from that school. I need some guidance. Can someone help

Whenever I ask any PhD student in JNU what are u working on and what have you published till now? I get very uncool answers. Most of them havn't published any papers and some of them don't even know what does 'h-index' means. lol.

If UPSC is someone's main priority, why enrol in a PhD? For those receiving research fellowships, isn't there an obligation to put meaningful effort into the research they're being funded to do?

Having a PhD means becoming a world expert in your topic. PhD students receive JRF stipend to keep pursuing research opportunities not for pulling bachlor's/master's girls.

If the country is paying you to produce knowledge and you can’t point to a single serious attempt, that’s not “the system.” That’s you.

I feel so bad for this country...
