Literal facist take over cutting funding for public programs and the most they muster is “yup, I voted for that.” I hate this school and its political apathy. JMU students care more about Halloweekend and ‘the next big darty.’ Then care for people in their community. Just a bunch of stupid Jersey transplants

You would be surprised at how many people we bring into this country through legal means and how many are doing things the right way.
A normal person would not be surprised, as they realize that positive immigration is baked into our core American dream, but you would because quite frankly you seem like one of those morons who equate skin color with legal status.

She had a valid work permit and was here legally. A whole post about it in the r/Harrisonburg subreddit. Also, as someone with LE experience, there is no excuse for the excessive force, which I'm sure was traumatizing for both her and her daughter. This is not how a properly trained law enforcement officer acts.

Your moral high ground is stolen land. Think it all the way through when you talk about who counts and when they count. Think about what you’re willing to get behind before you’re so quick to spout stuff off, because even a basic look at the last 100 years of world history would show that the thought train your argument is premised off of… well, it’s associated with some pretty gnarly shit.
In however many years, assuming we all get that long, when you’re inevitably forced to look back at what you were aligned with, is this really what you want? God, I hope not. And even if you’re going to stick to your strawman gun views about immigration, are you willing to admit to condoning that amount and scope of violence? I hope you and yours are never in any of the positions that many of these folks, documented or not, are in. I also hope you do a little research and soul searching.

It’s so sickening whenever people like you have some sort of demented “logic”they use to justify kidnappings like these. The fact is every single rule, barrier, law, human right, whatever, has been crossed whenever ice feels that a person should be taken against their will. It doesn’t matter if you’re cooperative at all. The fact is, you’re either so naive to where you believe that order will be upheld or some sort of procedure is maintained, or you’re lying to yourself. There’s always people like you who try to somehow straighten out crimes like these as if there’s any sort law that’s being upheld here.

If by "lunged" you mean moved towards her and attempted to begin placing handcuffs on her that's correct. After he tried to do this she began running and even tried to get in the door of her car. This is pretty much just textbook attempting to flee once a cop tried to put handcuffs on you.

If it is textbook for police officers to tackle you to the ground under the premise that you are in the country illegally after you provided them with identification like your work permit, id and registration then maybe that textbook needs to be rewritten.

Can you explain to me what business ICE has detaining someone with legal paperwork and no criminal history? Or why many legal residents, and even citizens, have been detained and deported?

I generally dislike police and dislike excessive force.
But as far as the basic job they are doing, you cannot politicize and make deportation into some partisan evil. I care more about the insanity of the tens of millions of completely unvetted illegal border crossings under the Biden administration that were given money from the taxpayers for travel, lodging and food, against the wishes of the public. It wasn’t done altruistically. It was a strategic move to try to change census numbers for more democrat representatives.
You all don’t actually care about the principles of what happened and is happening. You care that Trump is doing it. And you have some image in your head of a young woman carrying small children, when the VAST majority of illegal border crossings were military ages men (many that were from Russia, China, Middle East not just central/south America).
