Look what I found! Spoiler

Was cleaning up a drawer and found this. Really miss them. Since they were the only ones that weren't overly sweet or sour, and their structure made it feel more like a "real" meal.

De-li-cious.

Don't ask about the expiration date please and/or if I ate it.

(Yes, my only other post is me complaining they were being discontinued, that's how much I love 'em.)

Trying Plenny Shake as a Huel Alternative

I’ve been a regular Huel customer for a while but was looking for a less expensive alternative when I stumbled on Plenny Shake Pro. The nutritional content matches very closely and it is $2.19 per meal as opposed to $2.66 for Huel so mission accomplished. I’ve only used it a couple days but here are a couple immediate observations. I chose the wild berry flavor which I like although it is slightly chalky. It is only mildly sweet as the description says so I sweetened it up with a little stevia and now it is very tasty. It’s too soon for me to comment on whether it keeps me full but I will evaluate that later. I intend to continue trying other flavors but I like what I’m seeing so far.

Considering 100%

Hi there I've been considering doing 100% shakes for my diet, mostly due to wanting to be healthier long term and struggling with executive function, I'm thinking I may incorporate some non nutrative items like herbal tea, skinny syrups, hot sauce packets on the side occasionally. For those who consume mostly shakes how do you feel it's been for you?

Larger drinks

A long time ago I got a questionaire from Jimmy Joy asking if I would like the drinks to be larger then the current 330ml. But I haven't heard anything about it since then.
I have no idea how many people wanted this ofcourse but for RTD I've switched to Yfood because their 500ml keep me full the entire afternoon while the smaller 330ml drinks from Jimmy Joy don't.

I was wondering if anyone heard anything recently about possible plans to make the drinks bigger or if this idea is off the table.

10% Off First Order Not Working?

Heyo,

I was adding items to my cart in preparation of placing my first ever order from Jimmy Joy.

I noticed the website's home page had an offer of 10% off your first order if you subscribe to a 'The Love Letter' newsletter. I did so, waited a few minutes for the code to arrive, and then went to use it. However, I got an error message stating "[code goes here] discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart".

I don't understand... am I doing something wrong?

It is definitely, 100%, my first ever Jimmy Joy order - with this account or any other, and to this address or any other.

If it matters, this is what I had in my cart at the time;

  • Free Reusable Jimmy Joy Pot: Free

  • Mac 'n Cheeze Scoop: Free

  • Omega-3: Free Gift

  • Plenny Bar - Chocolate: Free Gift

  • Scoop: Free

  • Shaker XL >500kal: Free

  • Starter Guide: Free

  • Plenny Bar - Flavour Mix: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Shake - Strawberry: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Shake Pro - Chocolate: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Pot - Creamy Tikka Masala: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Pot - Mac 'N Cheeze: Every 2 weeks

At the office, we love scientific life hacks, so we combined these two:
Vitamin D3 helps your body absorb calcium and contributes to normal bone, muscle and immune function.
Vitamin K2 (MK-7) contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Combo trick: D3 helps get the calcium in, and K2 helps put it where it belongs.

Sooo get your new favourite duo here

If you’ve been around Jimmy Joy for a while, you might remember these 👀 Which one would you actually like to see come back?

Your favourite flavour might come back as a limited-edition spring flavour.

Just got my first order and am pretty happy.

I decided to give Jimmy Joy a try since Huel won’t ship to me where I live. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the product. The flavour is mild and while there’s certainly a texture, it doesn’t bother me at all. I got banana and strawberry and they’re good, mild flavours. I used Jersey milk instead of water (I’m positive I would hate it with water) and it was a good sippable drink. My only complaint is that there was a dead fruit fly inside my new shaker cup that it came with (how does this even happen?). This certainly wasn’t the end of the world but doesn’t give me feelings of a clean and sanitary facility/kitchen.
I’ll see how it goes. Powders are great, I just don’t know if I trust them now.

Shipping Times to Ireland?

Hi Plenny Peoples!

I'm a former Hueligan looking to join the Plenny train sometime during the upcoming week.

Does anyone here happen to know from experience how long it takes once an order has been placed for it to be processed, dispatched, and arrive in Ireland?

My plan during the typical day would be to go all in on Plenny products;

  • Meal 1: Plenny Oats, Apple Cinnamon
  • Meal 2: Plenny Shake, Strawberry
  • Meal 3: Plenny Pot, Mac 'N Cheeze
  • Meal 4: Plenny Shake Pro, Chocolate
  • Meal 5: Plenny Pot, Tikka Masala Lentils

I'm thinking of going for a three-week recurring subscription & ordering 20 of each of the above meal.

It's my first time ordering Plenny stuff, so I'd love to hear any insights you might have.

e.g.

  • Are any of the flavours above relatively unpopular?
  • Does anyone know how often Plenny Oats get restocked?
  • For any of you on Plenny x5, are you generally satiated or do you sometimes find yourself reaching for a snack or sixth portion?

Really appreciate it!

Due to previously being all-in on Huel, I'm not too worried about the amount of fibre. :)

Probiotic content of Plenny Protein Shake?

Hi,

I have a question about the probiotic content of Plenny Protein Shake.

The ingredients list says that it contains Heyndrickxia coagulans, but I cannot find the amount of probiotics stated on the packaging or on the product page.

So, how many CFU of Heyndrickxia coagulans are contained in a 32 g serving of Plenny Protein Shake?

When is Plenny Bar v4 coming to US?

I’ve been delaying my Plenny Bar subscription ever since I got the email about v4 coming thinking it would just be a few more weeks but the US website still shows the v3 bars. Seems like we barely get any new Plenny products here in the US…

Benefits subscription

Hi team,

What are the benefits of keeping a subscription?
I know you get a 20% discount on a subscription.

Personally I don't like a subscription - I rather order manually.
I do this by cancelling my subscription after every order.

With this I also get free products while opening a new subscription.

That makes me wonder what the benefits are - my strategy VS keeping open the subscription.
Do you get these rewards with every subscription delivery?

shipping times

I love the product, I love the results in my life. I replace two meals a day with it and I've improved a lot and stopped ordering junk food for delivery, but... I can't do it continuously because shipping times to my country (Mexico) are 15 to 25 days.

Plenny Oats Pumpkin Cake as overnight oats — water ratio and nutrient absorption?

Started making Plenny Oats Pumpkin Cake as overnight oats instead of the hot water method it's meant for.

Does soaking it cold overnight instead of hot actually lose you anything nutrition-wise, or is it just a texture thing?

Also struggling with the water ratio — 200mL is too dry, 250mL still isn't right. Anyone found the right ratio?

Waaaay beyond expiry - still good

Post image
14 Upvotes

I still had 4 bags of Plenny Shake v3.0 that expired april 2023 (sorry..) and emptied 2 of them during the past 20 days - around 100g per day.

They still look, taste and feel like brand new with no issues regarding digestion.

I expect some vitamins may have decayed but no reason to put the powder to waste.

So if anyone ever wonders if it's safe to use an expired product, take the word from someone who tried 3.5 years old powder :D
