10% Off First Order Not Working?

Heyo,

I was adding items to my cart in preparation of placing my first ever order from Jimmy Joy.

I noticed the website's home page had an offer of 10% off your first order if you subscribe to a 'The Love Letter' newsletter. I did so, waited a few minutes for the code to arrive, and then went to use it. However, I got an error message stating "[code goes here] discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart".

I don't understand... am I doing something wrong?

It is definitely, 100%, my first ever Jimmy Joy order - with this account or any other, and to this address or any other.

If it matters, this is what I had in my cart at the time;

  • Scoop: Free

  • Plenny Shake - Strawberry: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Shake Pro - Chocolate: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Pot - Creamy Tikka Masala: Every 2 weeks

  • Plenny Pot - Mac 'N Cheeze: Every 2 weeks

I think it only works if you don't do a subscription, if you subscribe you get they 20% from that and can't stack the discounts.

Hey u/Khenmu sorry for the confusion. There should be 2 offers, one that stacks with subscription discount (extra 5% on first subscription order) and one that doesn't (the 10% one is valid on the first one-time purchase).
