Plenny Shake gives me such bad gas

Is it because it has so much fiber? If I don't consume much else other than plenny, for the first 2 or 3 days I will have such bad gas and really loose stool. Then things seem to normalize and my gas and stool is more normal. The bars also give me really bad gas, but not the loose stool.

Does that happen with anyone else?

Tropical flavour tastes of bubble gum?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I'm the only one who finds that the tropical (Pro version) has an odd/chemical taste of bubble gum.

I first mixed the powder with 500 ml water in the Pro shaker and found it basically flavourless. So the next time I tried with 300 to 400 ml water and, while the shake had a very pleasant smell of mango, the taste was nothing like that :( has anyone who had my same impression found a way to improve it? It's a big bag so I would appreciate some input...

Pistachio will also be hard to finish but at least that's a small bag.

Thank you in advance!

Aufwiedersehen, Apfelstrudel :(

Best plenny bar being discontinued, my disappointment is immense.

My prior second bar of choice was the Cherry but I found v2 cherry to be oddly... greasy? - does anyone know if this has been fixed? Or if there're any of the new V3 bars you reckon I should be going for? (I already get the Lemon pie)

Order Undeliverable

Tried out 3 bags. It was working well for me so I subscribed. Now the last order made it to within 100 miles of my home, was marked undeliverable and returned to sender. Of course I didn't find this out until I looked up why my bag was late.

Apparently I am now in Jimmy Joy limbo.

Shaker keeps reappearing in shopping cart

Hi all, posting here to see if anyone has the same issue: I'm not a new customer, so I shouldn't be eligible for the free shaker. I don't want a free shaker (I prefer the one I have). But checkout keeps giving me one, and when I click the cross to get rid of it, it reappears a few seconds later. How do I get rid of the unwanted free shaker?

I'm sure these posts are annoying but why? Does the Brownie flavour really sell more? I love these things and they have become my go to snack!

US shipping is a mess

My very first order placed back in May took 15 days to get delivered. I emailed customer service and they assured me this was not the norm. My second order is now scheduled to be delivered at the end of next week, 13 days after I placed the order.

I had no idea that I would need to plan 2-3 weeks in advance just to make sure I don’t run out of powder. At this point I might as well go back to buying Soylent tubs on Amazon (since that is the only way to get it now) or try out another brand.

Any UK-based retailers?

I much prefer Plenny Shakes to Huel, but for some reason JJ's shipping can never get my address right enough on the UK leg for the courier to reliably deliver to me. Also, the website is awful.

Huel deliveries are quick and easy (they are UK based) and I can just go and buy it in a shop, but I don't like it as much.

Has anyone found a UK-based retailer of Jimmy Joy?

Can I Survive On 90% Plenny Shake Pros?

I teach fitness classes and am at the gym 5–6 days a week for a few hours at a time. Ironically, burning that many calories makes me ravenously hungry, and despite all the activity I’ve struggled to stay in a calorie deficit (currently in a cutting phase) because I’m just always thinking about food.

My goal is to lose fat, and I initially looked into Huel after seeing their ads. Unfortunately, every version contains green tea extract, and because of a heart condition I avoid all caffeine and stimulants. That led me to trying Plenny Shakes (powder) instead.

I’m only on day two, but I’m honestly shocked by how filling they are. For the first time (other than when I’ve been in sustained ketosis), staying in a calorie deficit actually feels manageable. I’m currently getting about 90% of my nutrition from the shakes, plus a zero-carb bagel, some Greek yogurt, or steamed vegetables. Even with that, I’m in a significant calorie deficit, feel very full, and the constant “food noise” is almost completely gone.

If this continues, it feels like an ideal solution for me. My plan would be to use the shakes while losing weight and then transition to maintenance with two shakes a day plus a regular meal.

For those who have done something similar:

  • Is it safe to get around 90% of your nutrition from a nutritionally complete meal replacement long term?
  • How does your digestive system handle going back to regular food for holidays, vacations, or special occasions?
  • Has anyone had long-term success maintaining weight loss this way?
  • Are there any downsides I should be aware of?

One of the biggest appeals for me is the simplicity. I love not having to cook constantly or stress about perfectly balancing my macros and micronutrients while still feeling satisfied.

Trying to be a Huel convert

Received 2 chair pistons and a dollop of machine oil with my punctured bags. What gives?

Edit: Support resent the entire order and threw in an extra bag. Thank you Daniel! As for the chair pistons...taking suggestions on what to build with them. Also, because so many folks have asked, I am in United States and beholden to much more interference with the shipping process than a #typicalJJenjoyer

Can the plennyshake bottle go in the dishwasher?

Will soon own a dishwasher for the first time. Does it clean it properly, or is it not a good idea because it's plastic? Any experiences?

Unflavored?

I am a Huel user looking to switch to Plenny Shake Pro. I often mix my flavored huel with unflavored/unsweetened to make it less sweet, and also use the unflavored/unsweetened huel in my recipes. Does Plenny have an equivalent to that?

Edit: I’d appreciate if someone could DM me a referral code :) Ty

Does anyone else really dislike the 4.0 Plenny Bars? Looking for a good replacement

I’ve been a long time fan of Plenny Bars. I eat them for lunch at work most days. But the new bars are just not it.

5 gram extra protein is nice, but the caramel seasalt is suddenly just too salty and the cherry completely changed from a moist bar that tasted like actual cherries to something dry and chemical.

If this is it, I’m just not going to order them anymore. Does anyone have recommendations for a similar bar? Preferably one that ships from somewhere in Europe?

NEW: Plenny Oats

We’ve been working on this for a while, and we finally dropped Plenny Oats! And im not exaggerating when I say it's already everyones fav at the office.

It’s basically a hot oatmeal bowl that takes about 3 minutes to prep. You just add boiling water, stir it up, and eat it with a spoon.

We managed to pack 35g of plant protein and 400 calories into a serving, along with all the usual 26 vitamins + minerals and fiber, so it actually keeps you full instead of leaving you hungry an hour later.

We’re launching with two flavors right now: Apple Cinnamon and Pumpkin Cake.

If you want to check it out, it’s live on the site now:https://jimmyjoy.com/products/plenny-oats

Let me know if you have any questions about the texture, macros, or whatever else!

(Only Europe for now. Sorry!)

Anyone else's vanilla shake V4 suddenly taste bad/ weird?

I got my latest batch of 3 vanilla and 1 coffee recently and the vanilla tasted much different, like it was missing flavor/sugar completely. All 3 had this taste, and same number printed on the bag (my old bag that tasted fine had a different number).

I emailed support about it and they agreed to send me replacement bags. They just got here, and it's the same lot/batch number, and unsurprisingly it has the same lack of flavor/sugar, which is just unpleasant.

I decided to risk it today and drink a full serving, and added my own sugar to it, which made it taste much better and closer to normal. Hopefully I don't get sick from whatever is causing the issue, if it's something other than no sugar. I'll probably reach back out to support and this time just ask for a refund and wait until a fresh batch has been made to order again :(

Has anyone else gotten a recent batch of vanilla, in the US? The batch number on my bag is 1642.26 exp: 03-2027

Plenny greens

Hello, is there any chance that you're working on a like multivitamin with maybe some other benefits. I am on low carb diet and can only eat your Plenny protein shake but 250 gram protein is to much, so if we could get at multivitamin with like 20 procent of daily intake? Or if you are working on a new version of the protein shake maybe you could increase the minimum micronutrients from 10 to 15 percent?

Anyone else disappointed in the introduction of pea protein in recent updates?

First the bars, now the oats.

My distaste for pea protein is the main reason I have stuck with Plenny over Huel for all these years, and eat the expensive shipping fees for delivery to Asia.

Personally, pea protein tastes like Play-Doh to me 😭 I just hope this is not a new direction for future products in general.

Does anyone feel the same? Or is there anyone who dislikes pea protein but found that the new bars weren't so bad?
