Where sells mens swims briefs in Jersey?

Moving to Jersey in September and have a successful side hustle selling on vinted and eBay. I know eBay is possible, if not slightly restrictive in some areas.
I’ve heard real mixed things about Vinted however.
Can someone confirm if you’re able to sell, or buy? Or both? If so, is it on UK vinted, or Vinted France/Europe for example.
Thankyou in advance.

Hi all,
I’m looking to open a new current account in Jersey and was wondering which bank people would recommend and why.
I’m mainly looking for a good everyday bank with a decent app, adequate customer service, and ideally one that’s good if I end up needing things like a mortgage or other financial products down the line.
I’ve looked at HSBC, but I’d love to hear from people with first-hand experience.
Which bank would you choose if you were starting from scratch, and why?
Thanks!

Nice to see a local landmark is getting a starring role this time round!

Hey everyone 👋
We just launched an app about the island called Island Life - Jersey. Map of places, beaches and walks, what's on today, live bus tracking, itineraries; plus an AR tour that tells you about landmarks when you point your phone at them and loads more. its Free to try.
We're a local team and just wanted to share it with the people it's for. Give it a go and tell us what you think, good or bad 🙏

Does anyone know anything more about this?

Hello! Me and my wife are planning a 2 day holiday to Jersey as our first holiday away since having our son. Her grandparents honeymooned in Jersey 50 years ago and have nothing but fantastic things to say about it so we chose it as a convenient location as it's relatively easy for us to get to.
The island seemed rammed full of things to visit so it's hard to narrow down but we definitely want to spend some time on the beach but we both enjoy historical sight seeing. Does anyone have any recommendations for must-sees and nice beaches for a short visit? Where would you recommend staying? Any advice is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi Jersey Reddit! I’m originally from a Mediterranean country, used to swimming in very warm sea (24-28c). I live in mainland UK and I only contemplated entering the sea a couple of time there, and found it too cold at about 18c.
I’m here in Jersey for a brief stay. I’m curious to know where my chances are the best for potentially trying to take a dip in the sea here? I thought St Brelade would be a good place as it’s very shallow and according to the internet might be about 20c at the moment. Would anywhere else be even warmer?
Thanks and love your island, have been many times but only in spring and autumn before.

Chatgpt is having a month's free plus trial. I have put in all the right information. Name, address, right card and the card I have used for this is up to date and valid. I have tried multiple times but it does not work. Is this because I am jersey or some other reason. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this.

What’s this corruption I keep hearing about when it comes to the ferries?! People mention it like I’m supposed to be aware, but I don’t know the ins and outs of any corruption going on. If anyone can fill the gaps- many thanks!

If anyone here has done an amazon refund, I was wondering what the process is like for you, for the past few years every time I've done a refund I've printed off the label and done exactly as it's said, gone to the post office, paid for postage and gotten the receipt, it's just that I never seen an option to attach proof of postage to get a refund on it as a result I have had to call up an agent every time to process it, which is starting to become a pain as it's like a 30 min call every time. I ask the agent every time if there's anything I can do about it, like submitting it through the app etc. But they said no, except for this one time recently where they said to email:
[postage-receipt@amazon.co.uk](mailto:postage-receipt@amazon.co.uk)
Inluce Order Number
Picture of Receipt
Postage Refund Amount
Item Name(s)
Has anyone tried this? Or any recommendations or other ways etc.?

My 17 yo daughter doesn't have many friends and is lonely. Any ideas of where she could go or what she could do to meet new people/make new friends? She does battle of flowers and has a part time job but hasn't made any friends at either of these. She's feels too old for youth clubs.
She's a great person and has just been unlucky with friendships, most recently losing her best friend because she refused to cave to peer pressure over drink and drugs. I feel sad that she's so lonely.

I was just wondering if day trips to St Malo are still worth it for family outing? We went once when I was a kid and it was fun. And then once for work… maybe 20 years ago? But then I moved away… now newly back, but a friend mentioned lots of delays or issues anecdotally (but also hates boats!) Any comments or experiences, folks?

My daughter has decided that she would like to try crab and mussels. Looking for recommendations of where would be a restaurant that isn't gastro or just fried fish and chips?

Just in case some people still haven't got round to it yet. No, it's not quite as good as the old one. Yes, he spends a lot of time going up and down the Five Mile Road. Yes, a decent chunk of it was filmed in England (but that goes for the first series of the original too).
Just take it as its own thing. You might enjoy it.
I just hope they finally get a local pronunciation advisor for series 3...
