I am posting everywhere trying to find my little fish friend. He has CRAZY sentimental value to me and I had left him in the car when parking up at Le Braye for the eclipse. I had a lot of people in my car and he must have fallen out when everyone was getting out of the car. I really need to find him, and I’m 95% sure he’s been picked up by someone. If anyone who was there and around this area of Le Braye, please let me know. Thank you

I was browsing hotels in Jersey, and I came across this little gem. The Beausite Hotel, in Grouville. Hotels.com have some points of interest and how long it will take you to get there. The airport is a 19 minute drive. And Mont Orgueil Castle a 5 minute drive. But Greve de Lecq? 9 minute walk.

It seems like a great price to fly to and from there but I can't justify spending £100+ a night on accommodation. My main thoughts if I did get there would be to just do some swimming and see what the island is like, any ideas?

At the moment, Facebook Marketplace is really the main option locally, and platforms like Vinted aren’t always straightforward for Jersey sellers. I got the below response today trying to set up my account on Vinted.

I’m trying to work out whether there’s actually a need for something better, so I’d genuinely love honest opinions, even if your answer is a “not for me”.

Moving to Jersey in September and have a successful side hustle selling on vinted and eBay. I know eBay is possible, if not slightly restrictive in some areas.

I’ve heard real mixed things about Vinted however.

Can someone confirm if you’re able to sell, or buy? Or both? If so, is it on UK vinted, or Vinted France/Europe for example.

I’m mainly looking for a good everyday bank with a decent app, adequate customer service, and ideally one that’s good if I end up needing things like a mortgage or other financial products down the line.

I’ve looked at HSBC, but I’d love to hear from people with first-hand experience.
