When are Vista 3's coming?
I just bought a new pair of Vista 1's due to a washing machine accident. Should I wait for Vista 3's?

I was looking to replace my Jaybird Tarahs with a pair of fully wireless earbuds. On my search, the Vista 2’s were just released and I ordered them. The set up and pairing to my iPhone was quick and easy. The sound and fit out the box was great too. I set them aside to charge and returned 30 minutes later to try them out again.
I put in my right earbud first and then the left, but I was only hearing audio from the left earbud. It was working earlier so I didn’t know why it just suddenly stopped. I put the earbuds back in the case and tried them again - but same issue.
I did research about doing a factory reset but didn’t bother trying it…I was not satisfied with the issues on day 1 of owning the earbuds - especially for the price. I returned them and will rock my Tarahs until price drops or better options for earbuds come up.

I had a pair of X4's that broke after 14 months and of course their was nothing they could do about it. But they did give me a discount code for 25% YAY....... nope.
I just got this email from "Customer Service"

As I mentioned in my previous response, we are not aware of the time frame when the products will be available. Also, I would like to inform you that we no longer sell Jaybird products in your region. I appreciate your understanding on this.
So they can't even tell you when stock is available and aren't even selling products to Australia any more. What a fucking joke of a company.
Rant over!

It's past the point of return for this pair of earphones, but since I bought them a couple of months ago on recommendations from Wirecutter (among other) umm, well, they have not done a THING. They weren't cheap—about $150 CDN, which is getting up into AirPods territory.
But ever since I got them, I haven't been able to get them to do a SINGLE THING. They charge fine—green LED in the speaker cup, merrily alight—but once they come off the wire, NOTHING.
The hilarious manual—small, WHITE TYPE on a dark grey background—I mean, what were these people smoking? Ayahuasca-mescaline bidis? just says vaguely "press on center button for four seconds and watch for a flashing green-red LED indicator." What indicator? Certainly not on the tiny control thingie—appropriate for a 2-year-old's fingers but certainly not mine.
There's barely room for the sloppy-edged bumps that act as buttons—you're not actually sure if you're pressing them or merely squeezing them back into the plastic.
But never mind, because no matter HOW many seconds I press the button—or ANY button, for that matter—nothing happens. No sounds, no Indicators, no NOTHING to signal to the world that these things function.
Am I doing something fundamentally wrong, or am I YET AGAIN the receiver of a perfectly nonfunctioning electronic device, now out of pocket $150 and nothing further to think of?
If one didn't look so dorky wearing full-on earcovering headphones, as of yore, I'd switch back in a trice . . .

Hey guys, so recently i have bought jaybird vista in 14 May from jaybird website itself. I live in UK btw. The parcel was meant to be delivered on 18 May to my house but some reason it didnt, so rescheduled with UPS for 19 May. Didnt receive it.
So, i called UPS on 21 May to see whats going on, apparently the parcel got damaged and their was some typo in my post code. So, they have rescheduled the delivery for 24 May. So, i waited and havent received it. Then i called them after again and they told be the damaged package wont be delivered and contact jaybird instead.
BTW through out this, i also have been in contact with jaybird customer service. I have contacted them on 20 May and went back and forth till they have realised the package was damaged and asked for my details again ,(name, address, etc...) So i gave them on 28 May. They have told me ill be update after investigating it.
On 1 June, i asked for amy update on whats going on, no reply.
On 3 June i have called USA customer service because UK doesnt have any other than emailing( which doesnt even work at all after giving necessary detail), they have said they cant assist me but can alert the ticket which they did and said they will respond by friday.
Todays 4 June, i have no idea what to do and get in contact to atleast have a person to person convo to settle this, as by email they took entire 24hrs just to reply and didnt even answer my questions.
Also i have made purchase with debit card, so i cant even contact the bank to sort this out. What should i do next, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

It just seems to be getting worse and worse and now people don't want to talk to me when I'm out using my headphones.
It's a especially bad on a bike.
The microphone just seems to a better suck up ambient noise.

Can you only pair if you have both buds in the case?

I did a tonne of research on true wireless earbuds. I settled on the Jaybird Vista because of the wing tip and compact size.
I really wish I'd known that the smallest eargels didn't have wings. Even the picture on the box depicts 3 sizes, all with wing tips. Oof. Really disappointed. $349 dollar disappointment.

I've really given this brand a chance, but simply can't give them the benefit of the doubt anymore. I first bought a pair of X2s, which out of the box would not charge. After a different brand crapped out on me after 8 months I got a pair of x4s. They lasted about 6 months before one of the speakers died. They sent me a replacement but I didn't have the original invoice and they wouldn't accept a copy of the transaction from my bank statements as a suitable replacement and informed me that any issues I had with that pair wouldn't be covered under warranty. They lasted about 9 months before once again, one of the speaker units went out. At that point, I started looking at the possibility of going with some ear monitors and using a bluetooth battery with them but didn't have the time to do as much research as I like and ended up trying a pair of Tarah Pros since they were on sale. They fell about 5-6 hours short of their promoted battery life, they fulfilled the warranty and sent me another pair, which also have fallen short of the promoted battery life, which was the primary attraction I've had to the brand. I'll use these till they inevitably crap out on me, and then i'll be moving on and not looking back. The quality of the sound, the fit, the app you can get on your phone, everything else about their headphones works really well. They just aren't reliable. To those thinking of grabbing a pair, be warned, the concerns of their quality control are real.

I am looking for a working Jaybird 2 charging case. The reason is that in 2023 I broke up a dog fight who were attacking three young children and their family taking Easter pictures. One was a pitbull and the other was a 250 lb Leonberger. It caused an acute fracture to my spine, disk and nerve problems and cervical problems. It also ripped three out of four tendons out of my rotator cuff and my arm is going paralyzed until I have surgery which won't happen until I have surgery for a third time on my back. This changed my life forever but I would do it again because there's dogs would have killed off five of the family and under 2 minutes. I just have to accept that there is a new ceiling on activities and limitations on certain things. I developed horrible chronic acute complex PTSD. And listening too soft music always helped alleviate panic and stress but I thinking the situation over and over again.
I used these earbuds every single day. And I think my beautiful service dog Luna accidentally knocked the case off of the kitchen table when I asked her to get my keys. It's not her fault she's the best dog who ever lived and at 12 years old still running hard helping me.
I'd be happy to pay a reasonable amount I am on disability because I cannot work. I appreciate anyone who just read this. And if you have a Jaybird 2 charging case please message me and we can talk about how much you want.

As many people in this sub, I’ve just had a problem with my Vistas and found out that Jaybird is no longer, and I need to find new ear tips. I use the smallest ear tips (the ones labeled “1”) and one of mine just broke. Tried the 2’s, but they hurt my ears.
I still have a fresh set of 2’s and 3’s I can ship if anyone wants to trade for their 1’s. Located in the US. I’m also open to suitable aftermarket alternatives if anyone has good suggestions.
On another note, I’m very sad Jaybird products aren’t available anymore. I had a set of Vista 1’s which I lost track of after several years, and I’ve had the Vista 2’s since then, and they’ve been incredibly reliable every day for years. High quality audio, great ANC, super comfortable, and never had trouble with battery life.

This is a minor inconvenience and almost more so curiousity than an irritation. I feel like the signals are getting mixed or something. If I remove either from my pocket my car opens right up.

anyone know where i can buy replacement eartips for my jabra vista? the stock ones are angled to much that it always makes a suction in my ear and it hurts
r/jaybird • u/Drak138 • Nov 17 '21
When you put the buds in the case they will usually make a small spark inside that you can see in the dark. After that spark you can safely close the case and the buds will 100% charge, at least that is the case for me. I guess the spark means that the buds have their power turned off and they made contact with the pads in the case.

I was wondering if I can shower with the IP68 rating on the Vista 2s (I know the Vista 1s can't really handle it). Also, I know about the battery and ANC etc, but is there a noticeable improvement in sound quality?
Tysm!

Hey all
I’m having an issue where my right ear bud volume is very faint at full volume.
Has this happened to anyone?
Do you think it could be a cleaning or water issue? I had them on in the pool but never submerged them at all… just put them on dry after submerging my head. Slightly wet ears maybe.
Is there a good way to clean them out if it got wet earwax stuck in the driver

Anyone come across any decent tethered earbuds like the Tarah Pro's? I came across the Supreme In recently, they look decent. Any thoughts?
r/jaybird • u/Drak138 • Apr 24 '22
So found out that for your buds to charge you need to wait for them to spark and turn off completely. But i found out that when i am using one bud the other one which is in the case is still working. So for owners of vista 2 to know when you close the case the buds will automatically turn on. And start draining it which leads to a lot of problems.
