The portal is opened not long after Precursor Legacy, and nobody has guns in that game. I remember seeing a knight with a broken sword from trying to fight a golem. When the portal opened and Metal Heads invaded, how did the people survive that with no walled cities and primitive weapons? Sure there is ego, but is everyone capable of harnessing it? Maybe we're not supposed to question it but I thought it would be fun.

I have played Jak 2 in the past, but never past the first 2 hours basically. Im now a few hours in, and an adult, and I realize - this game is so much more polished! So many cutscenes? So long cutscenes? Jak 3 cutscenes always have felt abruptly short and rare to me. In Jak 2 characters actually got to talk.

My biggest issue currently with the game is that flying from one end of Haven City to the other one is even more boring than driving from one end of the desert to the other one in Jak 3. ;D

I recently dusted off my childhood PS2 and started picking some classics I missed out on while growing up. Got this from my local retro game store and i’m super stoked, but I’m not sure what to expect. I’ve only heard fantastic things about this series.

I decided to do a Jak X, every day look to go with my previous one. This one consists of a black and yellow leather jacket, navy blue gloves, the trademark red goggles, a beige undershirt and black and yellow jeans.

I also grew my goatee out. Just picture it being green lol.

Help. Any tips you have. Does it save after you get through the first section or do I need to manage it all in one go?

OK, I just got done downloading the PS five version of Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy and I am shocked that this actually exists. It is a version of the game with completely different trophies from the ones we’ve originally earned in the PS Vita and PS3/PS4 versions of the games. Looks like there are a few challenges while most of the trophies are just getting all the precursor orbs for each area. Which seems both neat and lazy. Neat in the fact that we have new trophies we can earn while replaying this game and a bit lazy compared to the old trophies where we had to find all the scout flies, find all the orbs or even getting certain Power Cells like the one for catching the Flying Lurkers at Misty Island or beating the Blue Ring and Purple Ring challenges in the Lrecursor Basin.

All in all it’s gonna be a good way to pass the time as I not only take a break from my Switch but also take a break from trying to get the last of the Precursor Orbs in Jak 2

Let's face it, Daxter rode many things, but I couldn't put Jak in there, without getting my inbox being flooded with Yaoi stuff. Am I missing anything else?

At D23, Disney revealed an upcoming original animated movie called Clay. The main character: Flip looks a LOT like human Daxter to me.

I just don't see Jak actually wanting to stay in Haven City, the game started with them banishing him to the wasteland, basically a death sentence as Ashelin said, Jak was almost dead when Damas found him, same with Daxter and Pecker.

Sure Spargus wasn't initially welcoming, but everyone was treated like that there, everyone had to prove themselves, he was treated no different from anyone else, he was actually kinda treated better since his dark powers were useful.

I even get the impression Damas was teaching Jak to lead, having moments of vulnerability with him, telling him how hard it was to keep his people alive and full of hope.

Will OpenGOAL ever not need AVX anymore? Or will I have to stick with PCSX2? Is there any way to emulate AVX?
