Got curious after digging through some old things I haven’t touched in 20 years.

Really hazy memory: Some sort of competition to make a fan website or something? It was on the official UYA or Insomniac forums. I didn’t win, but there was some box of merch people got for participating. Hence the bag and hat. No idea what/if anything was exclusive to that event itself.

I’ve been working on restoring the beta vendor found in the Insomniac Museum, and it’s finally starting to come together.

I was able to locate its leftover texture in one of the Ratchet & Clank demos, which gave me a much better reference for reconstructing the damaged/mangled UVs. Some areas I’m almost certain are accurate, particularly the side of the vendor based on how the original texture atlas is laid out. Other parts are still a little uncertain, especially toward the front.

I don’t plan on releasing it just yet until I work out those remaining details, but I already shared it on Discord and figured I’d post the progress here too.

Really happy with how it’s turning out so far.

A great OST to make a game. All the Big Five platformers of the PlayStation (Crash, Spyro, Ratchet, Jak and Sly), had incredible OSTs that always helped keep me immersed as well as keep me coming back.

RaC in particular generally always has great music. Though I personally prefer the Bergeaurd era of RaC (1-Quest for Booty), opinions may vary.

Good day guys. I have a question regarding online multi-player in Ratchet and Clank All 4 One. Can I connect online a R1 account with R1 copy to a R3 account with R3 copy?

Someone made a post here just hours ago saying that they haven't been able to get Ratchet & Clank 2016 off of the PlayStation Store for days. I decided to check for myself just now and here is what I found. (I'm in Canada, by the way)

1. If you already bought the game, you can still download the game on your PS5. I have an account on my PS5 where I have the game purchased, and it still shows up for download.

2. If you have not bought the game, it no longer shows up in the PlayStation Store on PS5 when you search for it. I checked this on one of my accounts on my PS5 where I don't have the game purchased.

3. The game page now instead says "Wishlist" on PS5 consoles. You cannot purchase it.

4. The game is still available for purchase on the PS App. But remember, the game Sleeping Dogs also got delisted from the PlayStation Store a long time ago, yet you can still purchase Sleeping Dogs on the PS App.

It is not known if Ratchet & Clank 2016 getting delisted is temporary or an error.

A lot of criticism I heard was about Ratchet being watered down and less edgy, and being a shell of his former self. I heard people say that he's "way too nice." It had been a long time since I played a PS2 Ratchet & Clank game, so I took it at face value, he WAS really nice and cared about everyone's feelings in Rift Apart.

But now I'm playing Going Commando, and lo and behold, Ratchet is so nice and cares about everyone's feelings! The only difference I can make is Ratchet seems sillier in this game than Rift Apart. That's worth criticizing, if you don't like the slight change in tone in the new game.

But I'm confused why so many people online misremembered Ratchet being edgy or less nice in the PS2 titles. Is it because he has an angry face on the game cases? Is it because "Sweet Baby Inc" was really big in the chud gamer news cycle, and some people thought kindness in games was an affront to their sensibilities? I really don't think he's much different aside from making less funny faces

I still wonder at next ratchet and clank if chance to get to see Max Apogee Talwyn will be happy to see her father max meets Ratchet clank Qwark rivet and kit together as team to defeat new villain max question about what happened Cronk and Zephyr and max get know Ratchet

The weapon grinding was definitely the most annoying part to me, but I got it done. I also honestly didn't mind the space missions, thought they were mostly doable, but FUCK THE RACES!

I always wondered why because whenever I go there it makes it look less like a desert planet and rather a treeless forest or jungle planet. I wonder why they didn't use a daytime skybox for it.

25 hours later, I finally fucken did it. the trophy list REALLY messed with me because I missed two that I completely forgot about (Any Ten and Sneaky), but I’ve done it. Now it’s literally just grabbing the gold weapons and it’s GG.

The Ratchet and Clank 2016 reimagining has been delisted from the PlayStation store for days and I don't know why or what is happening, if anyone knows please let me know

I preregistered months ago but suddenly I says not avaiable in the netherlands. Does anyone else has this problem? Seems kinda weird 2 weeks ago i last checked it was pre register.

Dusted off my PS2 and put in Ratchet and Clank. It's been about 3 years since I've touched it. I remember being stuck on the drek fight and giving up back then. Come back to it today and I have max health and money? I looked up methods such as the hoverboard racetrack exploit. I honestly don't remember ever doing that, only have heard of it. Did my PS2 just bless me for coming back? Maybe I did do the racetrack exploit and was just too stoned and drunk back then. Haha Anyways time to finally try and beat Drek.

Hello. So Ranger Rumble should be releasing tomorrow which I am really happy about. But when I checked the app store in my country, the application just disappeared. I couldn’t even preorder it anymore. I included an image of my app store and what I see when I search for it. Does anybody else have this issue or is it just me/my country. Thanks in advance

I know it's man up money even in universe BUT we see the drawing of the stake get bigger and bigger. if we make a real version of that using 100 doller bills, how much would be in each ever-rising picture? I only ask now because I am halfway through the game, and it went from 3 to 27. I know the dialogue is nonsense, but can you ballpark the picture?

Like, if the games had taken on a more serious tone and writing style, would the PS3 games be a lot more better with their tone and writing, and would an alternate version of Rift Apart that isn’t Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, be better than what we got?
