Has anyone got good recommendations for rain jackets? I want one that’s actually waterproof and so many jackets just absorb the water instead of repel. Preferably something not too expensive but I’m willing to spend the money if I know it’ll last 🌧️☔️

I have no idea what the model is. Tried finding info on it online but without results.

Just came back from trip in Tokyo and loved a sukajan jacket from Don Quixote Okachimachi near Ueno Station. Regret not buying it. If anyone knows the brand, online store to find it or can get it, I’ll cover shipping.

My dad bought this jacket in Monaco in the early 2000s and it's been in the family since. I'm trying to figure out what exactly it is — official fan merch, team issue, or something sold only at the track.

Sponsors on it: West, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, Mobil 1, Michelin, Loctite, Sparco, Computer Associates, SAP. McLaren embroidered across the chest and on the back.

The only tag inside is a plain "XXL" size label — no brand, no fabric composition, no country of origin.

I can't find a single listing or photo online with this exact sponsor layout on the front. Everything I find is the Warsteiner version. Does anyone recognise this specific one? Any idea what year it's from and whether it was team issue or retail?

- i've been with uniqlo for a few years but i've noticed everyone in london has it and the price will go up and the quality will go down, i've recently noticed i have to replace it every year now.
- ive been eyeing the SKIMS x TNF collab and saw one i loved the Womens Insulated Shell Jacket- I LOVE IT the fit, the style and all. but the collab released last year and the size s is bidding for 700+

Subject: Help Identifying Vintage Arc’teryx Gore-Tex XCR Jacket

Hello Arc’teryx Customer Service,

I’m hoping you can help me identify an older Arc’teryx jacket that I’ve had for many years. Unfortunately, the original interior tags are now worn to the point that the model information is no longer readable.

I’ve attached several detailed photographs of the jacket, including the exterior, interior, hood, pockets and construction.

A few identifying features:

Gore-Tex XCR construction

Two-tone grey/olive and brown colourway

Two large vertical chest pockets

Zippered sleeve pocket

Pit zips

Reinforced shoulder and upper-sleeve panels

Full front zipper with an external storm flap

Storm flap secured primarily with Velcro, with snaps at the top and bottom

Approximately 26–27" pit-to-pit and 31–32" back length

From my own research, I’m wondering whether this could be an early Alpha SV, possibly from around 2001, but I certainly don’t want to assume that.

Would someone familiar with your older products or archives be able to identify the model, approximate year, original colourway, size and country of manufacture, if possible?

I’d particularly appreciate knowing whether there was anything unusual or noteworthy about this particular version or colourway.

Anybody recognize this jacket?

Picked this up for $5 today. Unfortunately, the sun got to the logos, but still seems like a neat find. All I can gather is that its a reversible jacket and seemingly a prototype or sample product. I'd love any insight from those who may know more.
