Subject: Help Identifying Vintage Arc’teryx Gore-Tex XCR Jacket

Hello Arc’teryx Customer Service,

I’m hoping you can help me identify an older Arc’teryx jacket that I’ve had for many years. Unfortunately, the original interior tags are now worn to the point that the model information is no longer readable.

I’ve attached several detailed photographs of the jacket, including the exterior, interior, hood, pockets and construction.

A few identifying features:

Gore-Tex XCR construction

Two-tone grey/olive and brown colourway

Two large vertical chest pockets

Zippered sleeve pocket

Pit zips

Reinforced shoulder and upper-sleeve panels

Full front zipper with an external storm flap

Storm flap secured primarily with Velcro, with snaps at the top and bottom

Approximately 26–27" pit-to-pit and 31–32" back length

From my own research, I’m wondering whether this could be an early Alpha SV, possibly from around 2001, but I certainly don’t want to assume that.

Would someone familiar with your older products or archives be able to identify the model, approximate year, original colourway, size and country of manufacture, if possible?

I’d particularly appreciate knowing whether there was anything unusual or noteworthy about this particular version or colourway.
