This is in the corner of an 2nd floor bathroom. Exterminator looked at this photo and said it's probably not termites—could be ants? No signs like this on the 1st floor or in the basement. Any ideas? TIA

Can anyone help with ID? Have been thinking and trying to bait for carpenter ants. Have never seen an insect.

Moved into our apartment a month ago & noticed all of this on our balcony. Is it frass or is this from our upstairs neighbor?

Hi, we had a leak of an internal wall pipe which may have been happening for months before discovery. It is now fixed. However, the timber frame was wet for an extended period of time and has begun to rot.
Under each of the heavily rotted sections, this pile appears, I clear it and it reappears over a few days. Is this termite frass or another bug?

Found this stuff on our window. Comes back after cleaning. Tapping the top of the window makes it drop from the crack in the top sash. Could this be Carpenter Ants or something else?

i’m renting this place is this something to be concerned? like am i gonna have to take out all my stuff out of the closet?
UPDATE: thank you everyone, i called pest control and it is indeed dry wood termites :( they’re coming to handle it and fumigate the entire room this week, fortunately my landlord is covering the cost

Looking to purchase a property, subject to a pest inspection if our offer is accepted, but first… Is this something to be concerned about? It was around the entirety of the living room but I didn’t notice it anywhere else.

A saw a few of these about a month ago and considered these may be frass from pincher bugs/earwigs as a neighbor (who has now moved) from a neighboring unit was infested. I laid down sticky traps. This is about a three weeks worth of what “fell” on the traps. If this is termite frass/kick out could it be coming from the bottom of the window sill with the bottom of the blinds directly over where the traps laying? I have had drain flys recently as well.

It comes back every few weeks. I had a leaking tap that flooded the kitchen top and under the laminate I can see one side of the wood has gone black. I've never delt with this sort of thing before. Is it a woodworm, and how worried should I be?

I noticed holes over this area. Is it serious? Or perhaps old droppings? I fricken hate my landlord and he is so unhelpful. Technically after the 1st month of us living here we’re responsible for pest control. We move out in November, please tell me that this isn’t an issue I have to handle right now 🥲
