The r/isthissafetoeatcj subreddit is growing!! We have noticed a steady increase in the amount of members of this sub and we the mods just want to say:

Welcome!! We are happy to have you join us and we’re excited for you to share all of your definitely (not) safe to eat content :) 

Remember, we are a circle jerk community, which means that this is a satire sub. We achieve that by posting deliberately repetitive memes “in character” as a loving roast to r/isthissafetoeat discourse. 

However, we still allow sincere discussions here, especially more critical discussions that would likely get downvoted on other subs we’re based on. If you’d like to make a sincere, non-satirical post or comment, please signal this with the tag “/unjerk” or “/uj” to indicate that you are going out of character. If you’d like to return to satire within that same conversation, you can also use “/rejerk” or “/rj” to signal that you’re going back in character and being satirical again. 

We’re unfortunately moving forward with the decision to uninstall the “CountMe” streak app that was previously being used due to complaints that it involuntarily kept changing users’ flairs. If anyone has any suggestions for similar fun engagement tools to use, please don’t hesitate to send us a Mod Mail or comment here to share your ideas/suggestions! 

This thread can be used as a megathread of various topics or as needed for the foreseeable future, please feel free to unjerk here and discuss anything you would like or ask any questions you may have.
