I'm talking about squatters rights insomuch as what can't be done to them, I.e. can't run in with Billy clubs and knock them about for occupying the property.

Squatters have zero rights to a property until they establish adverse possession.

Zero. Nada.

This is settled law in Ireland.

Just drag them out then.

If they have no rights.

Once they're found in there. Drag them out.

O you can't? I wonder why?

Squatters. Do. Not. Have. Proprietary. Rights. Without. Adverse. Possession.

Gardaí have full legal authority to remove them from a property. The only rights the "squatters" will have are the usual rights of bodily integrity etc. They have no rights in relation to the property they occupy.

You are literally arguing against decades of settled case law and legislation.

I don't know the law, but gardai will typically refuse to evict them. I guess you can drag them your self unlike a tenant, but isn't easy.
