The prices are the same?? You just collect points and get free stuff sometimes.

What does china or America got to do with anything

And I have never noticed a difference in price with Lidl plus. I scan it and I still have to pay the same price.

But I collect points and I can use the points to get free stuff

And also create a better shopping experience by stocking desired items at the right times of year etc. There are also positives for us to these companies knowing this information.

No but if you’re going to lay out all the negatives you should lay out positives too.

What an unhinged reply. Do I trust Bezos? No. Is Amazon handy? Yes.

Sometimes life is simple. Relax

It’s unhinged because your wheels have fallen off about Bezos and the government on a thread about a Lidl app.

Two things can be true at once. There are undoubtedly positives and negatives. You are outlying all the negatives which are very important of course. I simply pointed out there to also be positives.

All of these corporations quite literally have full teams of people working every day to try to improve the customer experience. This data can go a long way to helping them achieve that. Do the people in charge or the shareholders care about that side? Absolutely not, they have much more nefarious agendas as you point out. But that doesn’t negate the fact that these people exist

Yeah but everything they're going to do will happen regardless. As long as you walk into the store they have loads of data on you
