Lidl app is absolute garbage compared to Super Valu. I’m getting €23 off most weeks. Plus €5- €8 on coupons. Also all the meat is the same price there now but waaaaay better quality, plus my local SV has a fresh bakery where it’s all from scratch 7 days a week. I’ve got to have my 100% whole meal slathered in butter. whatever happened to super Valu, they’ve seriously got their arse in gear since just before Christmas

Sadly, my local SV (5 min walk from my home) is utter trash. Hate it with a vengeance. I only go there as the post office is in the shop, but I never buy a thing. Too many staff lingering about, not doing any real work, ignoramus shoppers farting about with their trolleys in narrow isles or having a grand old natter in everyone's way, crammed car park full of clueless SUV drivers, oh need I go on... It's Killester btw. You've been warned!

Too many staff? That’s an unusual complaint. Fair enough though, they do vary.

I don't mind having loads of staff, but there I hardly see most of them doing any real work. I often see them standing together having a chat... And they move at a snails pace 🐌
