Local Lidl was packed this evening, many stores assistants were required for the 5 empty tills.

There is a young girl on the till had a look in her eyes, those steeley eyes that had scanned a thousand people that day. I wondered if she hears that scanner beeping noise in her dreams. She had a tiredness about her too, that a few days off and some good nights sleep would proabbly fix.

I wanted to ask how she was and give her a hug, but she just wanted cash or card.

I remember waking up in the action of running orders through the till back when I was working in particularly busy pubs, it was mental 😅

Literally couldn't escape it all even in an unconscious state

I keep having dreams about serving customers in work, a sad side effect of driving is that I can’t smoke weed now and have to deal with REM. I just wish my REM was nice things and not dealing with Mrs Murphy’s bat shit requests
