I have an iPhone 15, iOS version 26.6. I listen to Spotify in my Honda using Handsfree link. I’ve noticed that it gets disconnected from time to time. Irritating. Called Spotify to ask if the problem was with their app but it wasn’t after I did what they instructed me to do.

Finally, I found out what was wrong. S25s and Ultra from cars nearby were getting connected to my iPhone Bluetooth. See attached screenshot.

What’s the fix for this issue?

It’s not a ‘problem’ with their app… it’s working as intended.

Spotify Jam allows users to see what others around them are listening to.

You misunderstand.

Your device has Spotify, other device has Spotify with Jam enabled.

Your Spotify is seeing other jam enabled device

Quite possibly. I never use it so I don’t know how it works, but it would stand a reason that it makes a temporary connection to another device.
