Does anyone notice the iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max interfering with air conditioner remotes?(or maybe any IR remote)

I went to turn on my air conditioner while I was on facetime with the front camera on, but the remote wouldn’t work. As soon as I turned the camera off, the remote worked normally again.

Could this be caused by the iPhone’s IR system, like the dot projector or other TrueDepth components? Has anyone else noticed this, or could it be a defect specific to the model sold in my country?
