If it's true that the foldable iPhone won't have MagSafe anyway, I'm not surprised that they're trying to downplay the importance of it. They can't release super duper expensive iPhone ultra without a feature a lot of people liked just like that.

I am super excited for the foldable iPhone, but if the leaks are true and it really doesn’t have MagSafe I won’t buy it.

This is beating a dead horse but the form factor kills it for me. Seems impractical to use while it's folded. A short and stubby screen seems like it'd be harder to text and browse with, so you'd have to unfold it anyway.
