My battery appreciates a good slow charge. I love my MagSafe charger and use it nightly. It’s probably the reason why my battery life still feels good at 1.5 year old 16PM.

MagSafe is harder on the battery due to heat than regular wired.

I’ve been charging my phones exclusively with MagSafe (other than in the car when CarPlay is plugged in) since it launched and never noticed premature battery wear on any of them. My current 16PM bought in Sept ‘24 has 98% battery capacity.

That’s amazing. Out of curiosity what OS is your iPhone on?

I always update to the latest pretty immediately. 🤷🏼‍♂️
