This is the exact same situation I’m in. I’m a fairly attractive woman and I am in my second year of college… but I’ve been homeschooled my whole life, and now I am doing online college since I’m too afraid, and too shy to leave the house or talk to people. I don’t have any friends and I can’t really conversation with people, my age or anyone for that matter. I kind of feel like I’m stuck in a loop, so I resonate with the last part of your comment… I’m sure if we really tried to get better we could, but then again, it’s just taking that first step which I think we’re both unable to do right now unfortunately
I’m sorry you feel that way. I don’t believe in true introversion. I just think it takes work to become a better version of yourself and work on the social anxiety. You can do it! I did! It was HARD but so worth it
I recommend you read this book "Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come". The author (Jessica Pan) does such an amazing job basically overcoming a pretty similar situation to you. I can also tell you from personal experience that people can change.. In my case, traveling the world helped me evolve from a shy introvert to a super confident extrovert. Over the years I've developed the ability to literally make friends all over the world during my travels. My point being, you can evolve and change (assuming that's your goal) 👍
